I began taking TMS classes prior to my retirement and enjoyed it so much that I have now made studying Mandarin a retirement project. All the teachers I have had were excellent and went out of their way to adjust the lessons to my needs and goals. My teachers have not been simply native speakers of Mandarin, rather they have studied language teaching processes at the university level. They know how to plan a lesson and how to respond to questions in a meaningful way. Dedicated, knowledgeable teachers with a supportive attitude -- what more could one ask for?

The pandemic has changed the way my daughter learns Mandarin – for the better. Initially the virtual group class provided continuity of Mandarin instructions. But as my daughter’s other extracurricular activities competed for time, we switched to one-on-one virtual classes with Sun 老师。 This forum allows my daughter to have a curated curriculum tailored to her level and interests. The once per week immersive experience with her teacher continues to be fun, relevant and educational. We love the way Toronto Mandarin School continues to provide different learning modalities. All the teachers are excellent at working with children of all ages and the administration is very parent-focused on providing a first-rate experience. 谢谢。

Taking classes with the Toronto Mandarin School has been one of the best decisions of my life! Over the course of several months, I've greatly improved my ability to speak, read, and write Chinese and it's greatly improved my confidence in dealing with international clients.
