I am a bringing my car to Mike and his team at Speedy Auto Service-Carling Ave since 2013. Mike and his team were always professional, and treated me and my car with respect. They offered the best solutions to my problems, and the work they've done was on point. I recommend Mike and his team to any person looking for an honest shop with honest people, fast service, and great customer service. The five star doesn't make justice to this place. FANTASTIC! They reallllly took care of me. Showed me what was wrong with my car before doing any work. They personally picked up the parts when they found out they weren’t going to be delivered until end of day.These are my only mechanics now.Just take your car here. You won’t be sorry.

I would recommend this shop to anyone. I used to go to a different mechanic for my car, and, somehow, every visit to that mechanic cost me hundreds of dollars (minimum). When I started going to this Speedy, I was shocked to find out that not every visit to a mechanic has to drain your bank account. Mike has called me back before (after I dropped off my car) and told me something just needed to be tightened (~$60), or that there was nothing wrong with my car at all. Their team is honest, and they have absolutely earned my trust.

Switched my winter tires and service was quick. Asked for a look over my car and the front desk was pretty alarmistic about the repairs that needs to be done..and the price suggested is almost triple other shops in Ottawa. I'd shop around for any real service.

I am quickly becoming a fan of this place and of Mike and his team. I have come to this location twice now. The first time I was badly in need of a wheel alignment, and Mike and his team were quick and courteous and even got the job done at under the cost they quoted, explaining to me that they had been able to get it done in less time than expected. I appreciated the honesty.The second time I was behind on changing my tires over for the season, and also needed two new tires put on rims. I had been to other shops that were telling me I could be scheduled in roughly 3 weeks time. When I contacted Mike he was quick to help me, and had everything handled faster than I could have hoped for. I felt well looked after and fairly priced, with succinct and direct communication. I am grateful to Mike and his team, and will not be thinking twice about where to go when I need these things again in the future.Brady

Went in with a non fixable flat tire as seen in my picture. They 2 new tires and fixed my annoying heat shield too! Fast professional service and the gang there really knows what they are doing.Update! Still going to them now as they are a full service shop and nice and close to me. Still great service and professional.

While visiting my boyfriend in Ottawa my car started making screeching noises from the front drivers side wheel. We were unsure of the noises and before making the trip home I stopped at this location to get things looked at. They took my car in right away and had diagnosed the problem within minutes. Turns out a small rock was stuck somewhere between the wheel causing the noise. One of the mechanics removed the rock, and they did not charge me even though they hoisted my vehicle. I have nothing but nice things to say about the staff, 10/10 would recommend.

Receptionist is really nice, the guys in the shop get the job done fast, and they have very reasonable prices. They also provide chairs outside for you to sit in the shade while you wait which is pretty cool of them.(3 years later)I am still thrilled with the level of friendly and professional service here. Mike and his crew always seem to go the extra mile for you and truly have your back in a tight spot when sudden car issues come up.
