Big Box Outlet Store - Burquitlam

I often come into the store to browse for sales. Last weekend Brandy helped me with my sectional couch purchase and she was so dedicated and delightful. She supported me with all I needed! Always super friendly and kind.

This store is very tidy, unlike some other Big Box stores. I've found the staff to be efficient, helpful and polite. Brandi, in particular, is a real gem! She's gone out of her way many times to help me find different items, and is very knowledgeable about her products. Great store overall!

I love shopping at big box but today was a disappointment when the assistant manager spoke us in such a rude ubrupt way when we were in the store. She was shouting at us infront of all the other customers. The customer service is really poor (especially if it comes unexpectedly from the A.MANAGER!) and does not show professionalism and care for their customers.If you can avoid this location to prevent an uncalled experience, I would highly recommend it!UPDATE:The next day regional director and store manager who spoke to me, acknowledged the situation and investigated what happened . They were both very helpful and understanding. The Burquitlam store Manager was very pleasant to talk to and reassured me that this will be reviewed further.I feel more assured that I will feel more comfortable and have a safe shopping experience if I visit the store again.Thank you to the leadership team for your efforts to make this better.

Went in to look for new patio furniture. Ended up buying that and waaaay more!Brandi ( assistant manager) was helping us. She was FANTASTIC!!! Knowledgeable , polite, accommodating and gave us a great deal. Will go back just and definately ask for her!!!

I was just in your store today and could hardly breathe with how hot it was. I asked lady at the register why isn't the AC on its summer time and 32 degrees outside . She said the AC has broken for months now and not being fixed even tho staff and customers have complained multiple times . I could hardly last 10 minutes in the store how do these poor employees last hours at a time ???? My next call is to the labour board this is absolutely ridiculous!!

I love this location and this store. Not only are there great deals, but the staff are so awesome. There are a couple of great cashiers that really understand what customer service is. I love shopping here and avoiding Costco shopping all together.XxA

I came from far out of the way with a toddler after calling about all locations offering the same things and wasn't told they often close early here or that there's too much heat" :("

I love going here, something different each time. Today I shopped through the women’s clothes, the toys, and the packaged food options. Big selection, easy access to aisles, friendly staff.My cashiers name was Kim and she was friendly and efficient.

Decent store, good deals, nice selection.However they have closed early for a week now due to the heat wave" so are they only open in the morning for the rest of summer? Value village never closed and Big Box didn't close like this last year. No information about if this is temporary while they get something fixed either.All week I've seen people outside upset that it's closed. So hopefully people see this and don't waste their time :("

I am a huge fan of the big box stores...mostly for the clothes. Costco clothes but cheaper! I go to all the stores regularly but this one the most as its closest. While I dont think the clothing selection at this one is as good as some I do feel like the staff here is great...particularly one girl who works in the evenings when I go most...possibly a manager or supervisor? I don't know her name but she is super helpful. She talks quite loudly and the store is quiet at the time I go so I can regularly hear her helping others with products and questions and what I overhear is amazing customer service. She seems to know her stuff and actually care about helping others. Its refreshing to see as and just thought she deserved a shout out. We need more people like that.
