Thorncrest Ford Service

Very rude old woman at the reception who said that she doesn't care about anything. No service was done. They just gave us a new part 5 hours later and that's it. Technician was polite and he gave us a call to clarify the situation. Still nothing was done but I don't think that anyone cares. No one was wearing any gloves, no one was sanitizing the car after driving it... And they took the car for a joyride...extra 20+ km... Are you for real? Nothing was done to the car and you were driving it for fun. What is wrong with you?..

What a joke. Staff in show room were extremely rude. A manager I assume followed me into the washroom to criticize me for using the wrong bathroom and told me not to come back. They have the men's washroom marked as staff" and the women's washroom marked as "customer". As I walked up to the restroom a female staff member walked into the "customer" or women's washroom so I used the men's or "staff" washroom instead. This man followed me into the bathroom as I was using the facilities to berate me and tell me how I used the wrong bathroom. Just ridiculous"

The service center is clean, provides coffee and other beverages, and offers free pickup and drop off shuttle for people getting their car serviced. The staff always very cheerful and helpful. Reoccurring issues include: the length of time It takes to get an appointment, sometimes up to a month; their reliance on directing people to their website to book appointments, but never responding or following up the request; and on more than one occasion, and after confirming a list of things to be completed during appointment and final approval phone call, one of the listed items was just forgotten about (I wasn't charged for it nor did they try to tell me it was done, they just forgot).

The rating one gives for service sometimes happens when everything goes well right from the start. Some of my highest ratings have gone to companies that, while not having a great start, pulled out the stops to make sure the rest of the job goes better than planned.That's the case with Thorncrest Ford and why I'll continue to take my Ford there for service.Starting with a mistake on the parts, Tanya did everything in her power to ensure that the correct parts arrived, and during the delay, rented a car from Enterprise (another of my 5 Star companies) at no charge. Tanya got me on my way with minimum hassle, even had the mechanics double checked the installation and speak to me personally. A great job and great customer service.

My ford escape blower switch only worked on 2 speeds. Fan blower resistor change was quoted at 560 $. Ended up paying 180$ for so called diagnosis. Could have quoted me without so called diagnosis, .I know dealership charges are higher. But this is total rip off. Avoid if you can.

Service is not up to Dilwary standards. The attitude of tye lady at the service counter is horrible .

If you own a commercial vehicle with weight on it take it somewhere else. They dropped a friends vehicle off the hoist and regularly refuse to do the tire rotation on my vehicle.

They don't understand what appointments are, and you can wait days before they even look at your car. I tried calling Adriano the service manager 4 times over many weeks and he never bothered to call me back. Absolutely abysmal service. Plus it was $150 for an oil change. Do yourself a favour and Go elsewhere

Today I experienced what real customer service " should be . I had booked a routine oil change ... my interaction on the phone was pleasant

Karan was ver efficient and helpful. I had a 83 pt service and needed corrosion inspection. The service was excellent and timely.
