Went into the store to get a new stick for my son. The owner, Mike, was working and helped us out. An absolute gent of a guy. Didn’t try to sell us anything we didn’t need and really took care of son. So nice to see people and stores like this that still exist where spending everything you have isn’t the goal. He was cordial and respectful and I will definitely shop here again!

Great service here. I went in to buy a new upgraded helmet with easier to use buttons. The employee was very honest. He told me I can simply replace the buttons. He only charged me $3. A new helmet would have easily cost over $70.I also noticed the skate guards I recently purchased from Sportschek, were actually cheaper here at Rocket Rods. I could have saved a couple bucks. Another point for these guys. Usually it's the bigger name brand stores that cough out lower prices, but not in this case, folks. I highly recommend Rocket Rods for all your hockey gear needs.

The only place I’ll get my skates sharpened. Incredible service and very reasonable prices.Mike is a legend! He stayed late to replace both of my skate blade holders on short notice for way less than I expected to pay.
