Port Renfrew Community Centre

Beautiful place! Stayed at the pacheedaht campground. Beautiful beach there, and very unique. Botanical beach was also a great place to visit at low tide.

Great little spot if you need wifi. It shuts off around 11 pm and stays off until 6 am to avoid overnight campers. Good news if your an EV owner! They have two level three fast chargers, and they are free to use. Sadly, when the power goes out, and it frequently does in Port Renfrew, the chargers won't run off the generator. This place also houses the Canada Post office and the public library. If you have a VIRL card you can access the computers here for free during operating hours. There's a bit of covered seating as well, and a giant map of the whole area. This place is definitely a lifeline for the town. There is also a payphone on the grounds since there is no cell services currently within the area. Will update the review when cellular coverage is available.

The town of Port Renfrew is a very tiny camping town. The public library is the only place with free wifi since the entire town has no mobile service.No voice no text no data.It is expected to get wireless in Nov 2021.

I got info from the library on the tides. She has the tide table printed for the entire year. I also used the wifi.

Love the drive up, really scenic. Worth the trip.

This place saved our butts with free WiFi after completing the Juan De Fuca Marine Trail! The actual center was closed that day but the connection was strong enough to use inside our vehicle.

Just a wonderful small village on the West Coast Of beautiful Vancouver Island

Free wifi daytime. We got there on the weekend when they were closed, but just outside by the door I was able to get a strong enough signal.
