Mercato di Luigi
Stopped by on my lunch at work and had the “breakfast sandwich” and an iced latte. Breakfast sandwich was simple but delicious, coffee was great! Not a lot of indoor seating but plenty of patio space. I’ll be back for pasta.

how do some people not like this place, the human race confuses me at timesgo, just try it, order each of the pastas, maybe a coffee or dessert and sit outsidereally, just do it, you won’t be disappointed

Good. Some constructive criticism: breakfast sandwich was yummy, but a bit too saucy and the arugula was a nice touch of freshness but could have used more. Nice so spot though and I’ve heard the pasta was good. The service is mid, didn’t give us water, one server was neglectful but not a full restaurant so... 3.5/5

Mercato di Luigi is a great local spot for lunch and coffee. This place has style and is just the perfect spot for fresh and local pasta. They offer two pasta dishes a day that are made on the spot with noodles that are just too good. You can taste that they have been handmade that same day. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. This is a neighborhood gem.

Dined at this cute little pasta/ cafe restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. They serve delicious homemade Italian pasta between 11:30 AM and 2:30PM, at decent prices. They also offer refrigerated pasta and cheese for sale. Highly recommended!

We came here a few weekends back while visiting from Sechelt for brunch, what a lovely little pasta shop! I had the artichoke and olive pasta which was served with a poached egg, and my husband had a carbonara which also had a poached egg. We have spent many summers in Italy, and this shop is very authentic. Lovely service from the girl who served us, she was very knowledgeable about the food. We will be back next time we’re in town!Note: very limited seating, we happened to score one of the three tables inside available.

What a neighbourhood gem! We stopped by for our first time and had two of the best oat lattes I think we’ve ever had before. The breakfast sandwiches were delicious. Croissants with a pesto mayo, arugula, cheese, meat, and egg. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. I can’t wait to go back to get some of their groceries, they had some frozen pasta and sauces that looked amazing.

It’s always busy, but this time me and my friend were kinda disappointed. The mocha was very watery and too sweet… Pasta was good. ThanksIt was raining and cold that day, so we were waiting inside for more than 30mins and trying to find a table to sit down to have our pasta. One of the staffs just told us to sit outside at the patio which had no cover at that moment…

Popped in with a friend and were delighted to receive some of the best service and Italian food I've had in Vancouver. I'll be returning ASAP for the superb baked goods and sandwiches, and friendly, passionate folks behind the counter.

Love these neighbourhood gems and this one was no exception. Tables are limited so come early if you want one of the 3 tables inside. There are outdoor seatings too. The menu is edited, and the pasta was fantastic. If you love Ask for Luigi, you would love Mercato di Luigi. I had the blanca ragu for $21 and it was yummy! Featured menu changes daily and because it is part mini grocery store, you can buy fresh made pasta and sauces for those lazy days when you don't want to cook. Opened a couple of months ago, I see this place getting even busier in the coming summer months.
