Tadoussac Autrement

This is a great experience! You will have a chance to see whales of all sorts, porpoises, seals, and seabirds. And the Zodiac boat is comfortable and you can stay as dry and warm as you'd like if you keep your window closed. There's also plenty of room to stand on the back of the ship if you want a clear view of the whole water around you. (I'd still recommend bringing a sweater or jacket.) The guides are really knowledgeable and will answer all your questions.

Our first experience kayaking in Tadoussac. We were worried about our ability to keep up. Our guide Alex was friendly, patient and knowledgeable. He took the time to adjust our gear and teach us about kayaking technique and safety. His passion for local history and ecology was a nice touch. We even got to taste some foraged boreal foods. We spotted seals and even a few porpoises. We felt safe and well taken care of. Alex was kind enough to take pictures of the whole group and bring us a snack. This was certainly the highlight of our trip and was a very special memory for all of us. Thank you Alex! Would recommend to anyone. This is worth the money.

Our family really liked the covered Zodiac with the comfortable seats. The captain did a great job explaining stuff and interacting with us. We spotted whales at least 30+ times with even some sightings just 20 meters or less off the boat.

The fog burned off and we had an incredible whale-watching tour! Humpback, fin, and minke whales, as well as lots of seals and birds. Comfortable boat with lots of space to move around. Our guide Yoan was very knowledgeable!

The captain knows perfectly the place and Valentin, the biologist and guide shares generously his knowledge. I can't recommend more you won't be disapointed, load your batteries you will have loads of beautiful images.

Knowledgeable and friendly guides. Saw 6 belugas, some seals and many other wildlife. During the break, one guide even taught us about the local flora and how it was significant to the survival of the First Nations peoples and early settlers. Equipment was top quality as well. Would definitely recommend. Excellent value. Fantastic experience!

Best whale-watching experience in Tadoussac! The captain and crew are friendly, passionate and knowledgeable, The boat is comfortable and egalitarian. We went twice we enjoyed it so much.

The cruise was amazing! We had the opportunity to see many many whales, some came by really close to the boat! It was an amazing experience and our guide/captain was super nice and explained everything in both French and English

My husband and I enjoyed this experience because the biologist guide Renaud (sp?) was so charming and passionate about the whales and marine life. The boat was the perfect size and comfortable. Everyone on board was excited when we came close to minke and beluga whales, harbor porpoises, and seals. Even Renault pulled out his professional zoom camera, and that sort of excitement is contagious. I liked that this captain and guide pulled far away from the shore to search out a whole pod of belugas while many of the other boats remained close to shore for the sure-thing minkes.They were happy to conduct the tour in French and English. Two thumbs up! Merci to the crew.

Good service. We went out on the worst of all days weather wise. It was foggy with very little visibility. But that's just our bad luck.But the captain did his best to take us to a good location, we saw whale about 3 times. We couldn't see anything else.The guide seemed to be knowledgeable based on how he spoke. But most of it was in French so we couldn't really follow the content.
