Protect International

I have taken a few courses through Protect International. I have found the lecturers to be very professional and responsive to student needs. The course material was well presented and thorough. Thus far, I have taken courses in the HCR-20 and the MLG programs. I plan to use the knowledge gained to further my career aspirations. One thing that I must say is that the different methodologies are based on scientific research and has been accepted by courts all over the world. If you are looking for violence risk training, Protect International should be your first choice.

I've been fortunate enough to partake in three Protect International trainings, and each have been stellar. There is a nice balance between research, international scope, and case examples (including practice cases). The company consistently gives back to students and the academic community. They have pivoted nicely during COVID times and adapted to a well-received and outlined online format. I've recommended them to various colleagues and organizations as a gold-standard training company in terms of SPJ threat assessment. Also, it helps that the professionals (while literally at the top of their field worldwide!) are very funny and approachable during training and after.

Protect International continues to provide outstanding Risk Response education, support and intervention. Protect International provides thorough professional training. I have taken at least three of their courses related to violence, threat assessment and management and find the training rigorous, detailed and real world savvy. Their instructors are practitioners in the field as well leading edge educators. The other participants are professionals from a variety of sectors, law enforcement, forensic psychiatry, security, etc, this mix provides insight that I have rarely gained elsewhere.

Protect training is wonderful training! I have taken two workshops (RSVP and ASAP) and also attended one webinar (Violent Thoughts).
