Brantford Mushroom Farm

Place is a mess, totally unorganized and dangerous.Sorry My name is Brandon Smith. You know Smith is a very common name in Brantford and there just might be more then one out there. Your poor neighbor.Wow This place has some issues based on the reply they gave my review. I was driving by last week and was going to stop in and get some fresh mushrooms for my spaghetti sauce and let me just say I was not even going to get out of my car. Place is filthy. Note: I am not their neighbor, I live in the city of Brantford and I guess I should be sorry for being a lazy city person.

Picked up a box of mushrooms today, high quality and tasting great. Prices are good too. Don't forget to support local businesses.

Big disappointment. We were very excited to see what awesome mushrooms they had. Like other reviewers, we were met by no one other than a sign saying to press 1 on the phone. We tried twice and couldn't understand them. Eventually someone appeared. There was a menu of sorts with half dozen mushroom types available - or so we thought. They only had white and brown button mushrooms. The others (oyster, shitake, enoki, cremini, portabello) were not available. We bought 5 lbs of brown button mushrooms. The top layer was actually great. Very fresh mushrooms. Unfortunately, beneath the top layer the mushrooms were all moldy with white fuzz. We through away more than half the box. Won't be back. Better selection at pretty much any grocer.

Pulled in to get some mushrooms for dinner, expected a store setup like Brantwood farms, and was very disappointed. There was no one there when we walked in, hand written signs saying to pick up the phone for service. Asked a guy walking through what to do as it was our first time and he kept walking into the back. He did eventually turn around and point to the phone and said to press 1. We tried, no one answered so we left. First impressions matter and that wasn't a good one.

Amazing. I used to go here 20 years ago and I recently went back. The mushrooms are exceptional. The taste is like no other . Once you have these you won't buy store bought again.

I visited Brantford Mushroom Farm for the first time last week. The mushrooms were fresh and delicious. Thanks to Andy and his family/team for producing fabulous local mushrooms!

Good quality mushrooms. Would be great to know what they have in stock before driving all the way there.

Excellent price for fresh picked mushrooms! Also very good price for the garden compost.
