Amazing performances all year round, and fantastic “patio” concerts in summer time. The staff/volunteers are always a pleasure to interact with.I hope to continue visiting here as much as I can in the years to come.

Great little theatre tucked inside the Toronto Distillery District. Excellent plays, musicals and events. Such professional singers and actors makes Soulpepper a “must-see” theatre.

Wonderful and welcoming environment! The staff are super friendly and the performaces never disappoint. Only thing is-- I wish they had gender neutral washrooms, instead of what they have right now which are gendered washrooms with an inclusivity statement added on the front.

The Leonard Cohen play was on fire. We got rush tickets at the theatre was about 80% full.Incredible. Interestingly written, staged, and acted out. The performers & musicians at SoulPepper never disappoint. (I am a musician myself and have taught music). There was something for everyone in this play: jazz, tap dancing, soul, rock, poetry, history, humour - it was a knockout.Highly recommended, as are the $10 Outdoor Summer Concerts (also in Distillery District)

Their shows, whether concerts, plays, musicals, or anything else, are always absolutely top notch. I'd put SoulPepper up against any theatre company in the world. The theatres themselves are intimate without sacrificing the quality that often comes with larger spaces, and the cafe they have is also great. Plus their prices are very reasonable.I always have a great time at Soul Pepper and recommend it to everyone!

Great venue. Love the lobby where you could sit and have a drink or a snack. Theatre has great sight lines. It was a bit warm but nothing I couldn’t handle.

I got a ticket from friend and I am finally getting out to heal my grief from lost husband, and theater and art was his crowd so am I. So I went to see BILLE, SARAH AND ELLA: Revolutionary Women in Jazz. It was amazing I hold myself together not to cry because was all about black women in 30s 40s 50s trying to make it and as my husband is black and his admiration to Hollywood he knew all the history every bit of it. However, in the end please don't leave when they announce thank you to everyone because the creator Divine Brown surprised us with mini song, blow up all the tears out, didn't know what it was about at that moment, I had some vibe with Divine Brown whenever she was singing and in the end found out she was the creator. And the end song that made me cry so much. After that I told my friend I cried over the shortest song out of all entire show, she told me that was a song when they hanged people in Fruit tree. And that make sense all the vibe and history of black history. Thank you for wonderful vibe.UpdateWatched Leonard Cohen it was wonderfulI was expecting someone to show up like him but all the performance acted as him. Which means he is all in us. Vola
