Winston's Fish & Chips
Update: Both me and my husband were really bloated afterwards, I especially had to take tums (I am 11 weeks pregnant) probably because of the portion and grease. Portion is big, so I recommend order accordingly.Very friendly service, great food for sure. I am not a big fish and chips fan at all, but really enjoyed their food. Fries were so much better with malted vinegar. Food portion was big and price was reasonable.

Had the pleasure of dining here for the first time. I must say it was the most excellent fish and chips I have eaten.- Fish: Their Norwegian halibut was cooked to golden perfection, with a light and crispy batter that adds a satisfying crunch to every bite. The fish itself was incredibly juicy and flaky, and the portion size was mind-blowingly generous.- Chips: Equally delightful, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. They were served piping hot and stayed that way for a long time.- Service, The staff at Winston's were attentive and friendly throughout my visit. The food was served promptly, and the staff ensured that I had everything I needed to enjoy my meal.

Had a one piece haddock meal. The batter was crispy and absolutely delicious, and best of all was not greasy feeling. Enjoyed it a lot and would come back again.

Great fish and chips! The batter is especially good-light crispy with no oily taste. The portions of fish are generous as are the fries. Fries are some of the best we have had in Edmonton. Service was efficient and friendly. Coleslaw fresh and eating area/table was clean. Highly recommend if fish and chips is your thing!

Amazing! Had the two piece cod with fries and Cole slaw with a beer and deep fried Oreos. We all loved it. Service was great and had great atmosphere you can tell the owners love this place.

Winston's Fish & Chips
Excellent food and excellent service. I tried the Pollock fish and chips meal, and for dessert we had the apple pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Absolutely everything tasted great, from the fish, which was very flaky, light, and delicious (plus really big portion size!) to the coleslaw to the pie. The server, who I believe was Beth, was very pleasant. If I ever have the impulsive craving for fish and chips again I am definitely dragging my friends here in the future!

One 2 piece cod & chips and one 2 piece Pollock & chips. Excellent coleslaw and large portions.The only thing that could amp this up is home fries. Otherwise it was delicious.

Winston's Fish & Chips
We got the food to go this time but have dined in previously too. It is our go-to for fish and chips. Especially love that they have mushy peas. Their battered and fried mushrooms and oyster are also delicious, more so when dining in; crunchy as you bite in and all juicy inside. The restaurant has a nice ambience too.

Winston's Fish & Chips
This was my wife and I's first visit to Winston's Fish & Chips. I am not normally a battered fish consumer, but I was very pleased with my 2 piece order of Haddock that came with fries, coleslaw, and bottomless pop. My wife had the 1 piece cod meal. I really enjoyed the warm greeting when entering, the atmosphere, friendly service, and of course, the food. Their prices are also reasonable. Thank you Winston's staff off 51 Ave for your friendly service and great food. We will be back.

Winston's Fish & Chips
We had the halibut and haddock fish & chips and slaw, and shared a sticky toffee pudding and chocolate icecream for dessert. If you are ever in the mood for a tasty generous portioned meal with friendly welcoming service in a restaurant with ol' Britsh feel, check out Winston's. Two thumbs up.
