Cold Comfort Ice Cream
The ice cream sandwiches are the best I’ve ever had. They don’t mess around. Don’t let anyone tell you it’s not worth it. This spot has insanely good sammies. The ice cream and cookie version. Both the cookie and the ice cream are homemade with care. Vegan options are available. I highly recommend this spot for an amazing cold treat.

Cold Comfort Ice Cream
Cold Comfort Ice Cream was highly recommended to us, since my husband is an ice cream fanatic and I'm dairy-free.We walked over on a very warm day and found this place tucked around the backside of a building in a parking lot. You'd have to know it was back there, but it made it feel like a more local, less touristy place. With a 4.7 rating, lots of locals do know about it.Love their motto: Doing whatever the hell we feel like since 2010.Friendly customer service and they answered questions. I was thrilled to be able to order a small cup (one scoop) of very creamy vegan mint chocolate chip $4 and my husband ordered The Plain Jane ice cream sandwich $8, which was vanilla ice cream in a chocolate cookie sandwich.Very good and I'm so glad we tried this local favorite. Very good prices. They were out of some items, so I'd go early if you have a favorite. Pints also available. They have the cutest delivery vehicle, too.

Ice-cream sandwiches were definitely good, but not sure if they were $9 each good. They also only had vegan icecreams/sorbets for scooping. Next time I would just buy a pint for that price.

Cold Comfort Ice Cream
It's probably the best vegan ice crean I've ever had. The flavors we had were mint chip and chocolate fudge. They were very well balanced and full of flavor, nothing tasted fake, phony or hollow. I think this may be my new ice cream spot for the summer. I'm so excited for this summer now.

Cold Comfort Ice Cream
Too expensive for the product at $9 per sandwich! Got the chocolate cherry lactose free and plain jane. Chocolate cookie was too salty. First bites were good and ice cream filling was okay but cookies were too over salted so I couldnt finish it. The plain jane had hard cookies that i couldnt bit into and when i could the ice cream was so melted it was pouring out. Liked the choices but if i get charged premium prices i have to get a premium product..this was not.

Cold Comfort Ice Cream
Love the ice cream sandwiches from Cold Comfort. I’ve never found anywhere better and there’s a sandwich to suit any style you’re looking for, including gluten and dairy free if that’s what you need. They’re small so they don’t always have every flavour in stock. Be sure to check back to see new flavours and re-stocks. The Golden Graham is my favourite (Salted Caramel Ice Cream) so far. Choc-o-clock is excellent if your love chocolate and Plain Jane is great when you are craving vanilla. Tried the Horchata on my last visit and it’s a new favourite as well.

We come here at least once (but usually more) every time we visit Victoria. Really pushes the limits of what you’d expect vegan ice cream to taste like - it’s amazing. They also carry a bunch of top quality products from other local vendors. You just have to visit!

Cold Comfort Ice Cream
This is a nice little shop just outside the city centre for some cold treats! The shop itself is only tiny but the space where you can park, sit, wait in line and enjoy your food is unique and spacious.Nice to see some delicious ice cream options and some interesting others as well.
