Fortress Medical Clinic

Trying to get my family to see a doctor has been a nightmare in Ottawa. My family has been rescheduled 4 times since we were taken as patients to fortress medical. Supporting military families they say... not how I see it. This office appears very unprofessional. My family is yet to meet the doctor. Whatever you do, don't book a Friday appointment -They don't seem to want to work Fridays.

The clinic environment is neat with large parking space.The staff are very friendly.

Doctor and front desk staff are all very responsive, caring, and professional. We are so happy to have been taken as patients. Our health-care is in very good hands. Thank you.

I have a horrible experience with the receptionist who asked why I did not have a face mask and proceeded to scold and warn me about not coming again without a mask as she always has to give me a mask. I informed her that I needed to be advised at the time of appointment booking if a mask was required to which she responded she was ONLY going to tell me once. Mind you, many health facilities have relaxed their laws on masks and even W.H.O has declared Covid no longer a pandemic. I do not mind wearing a mask if I am advised to but her attitude was appalling and unbecoming of a person representing a health facility!I advise you either train your staff or have professionals handle your business. Doctors visits are not free so I do not understand why the fuss over a mask which costs less than a dollar. Horrible experience indeed!

They confirmed Thursday morning over phone that they are opened until 8PM. Drove an hour to pick up paperwork and was there at 7:25PM. Receptionist locked door and her response was she will run late for her bus.

Always responsive and they called to remind appointments. Never had a problem scheduling an appointment with my doctor
