Piper Creek Veterinary Clinic

Piper Creek Vet Clinic knocked it out of the park for me. I called to make an appointment for my cat to be assessed. I was able to get in same day as a new patient. Staff greeted me and were all friendly. Dr. Mike has amazing 'bedside' manor, answering all of my questions and interacting with my cat. It's clear he loves what he does, and his quirkly personality works seamlessly in this setting. I felt my cat was very well taken care of and will bring him back in the future. Did not like the morning receptionist. We brought in a dog from a rescue, and was just not a great experience. The vet who did the neuter on the other hand did a lovely job even if we didn't meet them, or any tech, or anyone other than front end staff.

I have been going to Piper Creek since 2009 for my pets and travel from out of town. Dr. Greg is amazing and treats me and my pets with great care and attention. Remembers what is going on even with pets that are not visiting at that time. I have and will continue to recommend Piper Creek.

My new Co-pilot Mae-Bell went to Piper Creek on Wednesday. The staff there are so nice. My rescue woofer was treated so gently by the Dr. It was Mae's 1st visit to a vet, and is now chipped and toenails are alot shorter.She will have her next shots in 4 weeks and spaying in Sept.No more litters for this beautiful gentle girl. She is so happy in her furever home, getting spoiled a bit for the 1st time in her 1 & 1/2 yrs. And she has a friend to play with.

I have been going to Piper Creek Vet for at least 10 years we have recently added another kitten to our family and the kitten had has very bad diarrhea I phoned on Saturday to make an appointment to see if I can get her in and I was told there was no vets on that day so I phoned back on Monday to find out that they have no appointments for Tuesday that they are booked solid but on Wednesday I could drop her off and the Vets can look at her in between appointments so in other words they had no time on Wednesday either for a Time appointment I find that very stressful when I have been going and a bunch of other people going for a long period of time you think they would at least keep a couple appointments open for emergencies such as this. I was also told by whoever answered the phone to use rice to feed her with I tried that and didn't work and I told them that and so they could not fit me in they told me to phone another vet

First time visiting Piper Creek with my little Morkie. Staff was friendly and professional on the phone and in person. Cherry eye removal went smoothly today. Highly recommend.

My dog had 6 teeth removed on Monday and she’s doing really well. Not eatting much. One of the staff recommended a certain canned food, but they only had 2 cans in stock. Won’t eat any other kind I’ve tried yet. She (dog) loved going there and she adored Dr. Linnel

Worst vet ever , I will never ever ever recommend this vet to anyone especially for putting your animal down . Today I had to put my old boy down and it was the worst experience and very traumatic for my poor boy who was getting put down . They tried giving him the medication to put him down with no sedation . After trying to give him the needle and missing they had to take him to the back and try to put in a second catheter to put in the medication to put him down … after about 5 minutes of listening to my dog yelp and cry he comes back and says they need to sedate him … which should have been the first thing they did !! So they bring him back , and we have to sit with him for 15 minutes watching him barely breathing till they came back to give him the medication to put him down .Please don’t ever take that our animal to get put down here , very traumatizing for the pet and owner .

Just had the yearly checkup for my kitty-and I loved how everything went from start to finish. We were new clients because we’ve recently moved to Red Deer.Dr. Fiona was phenomenal with handling our anxious kitty, and we could tell she really cares.We won’t hesitate to come back to Piper Creek and Dr. Fiona!

A week ago, we took Rocky (10 yr old Bichon, Shih Tzu, Yorkie cross) in for dental extractions. Our long time vet Dr. Greg performed the surgery, which made us feel secure knowing Rocky would be in great hands. A week later, he is doing fantastic. There is nothing more precious to us than our little dog...thank you Dr. Greg and the front staff for taking such good care of our little Rockstar.
