GemTerra (Renu My Condo) is definitely a Gem of a company. From the start they were very friendly and professional to work with. We had the pleasure of dealing with Berry and Sarah in regards to picking materials and planning the work which went very smoothly. They are very responsive, organized and the project started and finished just as they had planed. No headaches, no delays, no problems.I also dealt with their supervisor Jason who was very accomodating and always kept in touch regarding any issues or changes that should be made. The end work was amazing. My wife and I are extremely happy. Another bonus is you get a link to their app which updates you with pictures taken at the end of each work day. Really great stuff. I would highly recommend them.

Renu my Condo was an extremely pleasant company to work with. They were extremely organized, responsive, and executed work that was of extremely high quality. I cannot speak enough about Sarah and Jason. This was my first big renovation I was doing, they were thorough when explaining the entire end-to-end process and provided their own guidance and insights along the way. Anything related to payments was accurately reported and signed, there was truly no hidden costs. The work was not only delivered on budget but also 5 days ahead of schedule. With my busy work schedule, they took the initiative to collaborate directly with my building manager for booking elevators etc, alleviating stress off my plate. I would highly recommend this company to anybody completing a condo renovation.

The Renu team were great to work with at every step of the way! Professional throughout and always accommodating with the new requests/changes that came up. As well, costs were always clearly laid out so I knew with each new additional request what the added cost would be. Great work as well, very pleased with my bathroom remodel! Renu was great to work with! We worked with Renu to fix a waterproofing issue in an old shower. Once they received our request, they acted and responded quickly. Their team was able to put my mind at ease by keeping me in the loop during the whole process and explaining to me how the work was going to proceed. They finished the project with high quality under a tight time constraint. It’s their professionalism and the willingness of putting their customers first make our experience pleasant and stress free. This is our second time working with this company and the quality of their services has been consistently outstanding. We will not hesitate to work with their team again in our future projects, and we will definitely recommend this company to anyone who is still looking for their next contractors.

Some other renovation companies did not even reply to my inquiries unless it was a project with very big budget. Renu is different. They tried to design to fit my needs and budget. The manager, Sarah and the designer, Jason are very professional, kind! We found some mistakes and flaws during renovation. However, once we reported them to the PM, they are very responsive and tried to correct them in a timely manner. The workmanship could be improved. There were couple of items like shoe mounding I thought would be included but there were not. Therefore, I ended up paying a bit additional $ to cover them. The existing closet sliding door has a part damaged from before. We could not get a replacement from the store. Sarah kindly looked for it from their suppliers free of charge to get the door fixed. I hope I was giving the option to upgrade the mirror and lights in bathroom to make it look more luxury. I am overall happy with Renu, especially their professional management.

In 2021, I was looking for a contractor to renovate my condo. It was a big project - flooring, kitchen, bathrooms, tearing down walls, moving electrical. I talked to a few contractors but none of them was as professional/comprehensive as Gemterra/Renu. From day 1, they were responsive in communication, transparent about their price, and accommodating to our special requests. Throughout the renovation process, there were a lot of unexpected hiccups due to the global supply chain issue due to COVID and unforeseen circumstances, but the project manager was able to notify me about the problem and provide a few solutions in a timely manner. It all went well smoothly and they made sure the project was done on time and on budget. At the end, they did quality check where they walk through the place and made sure things were up to my satisfaction. In conclusion, Gemterra is was 10/10 when it comes to finding a partner who can walk you through the renovation.

We signed a contract with Renu to perform a complete kitchen remodel in a newly purchased condominium in 2021. Overall my partner and I were quite happy with the process, service, and final product that was delivered. Renu has a showroom so we were able to meet with them in person, look at materials, and get a sense of their cabinets, countertops, fixtures and finishes. I think this is important and I would not trust a company that does not have a showroom that allows you to touch the product you are buying. We worked consistently with the same sales representative and designer who proposed lots of ideas and took our feedback very well. They were patient and eager to help us find materials and a design that we loved. We had Renu take measurements (small deposit fee and no other contract to do this) so that they could create an accurate 3D model of the kitchen and recreate our proposed design. We made several alterations at this stage to cabinetry and position of appliances and were properly able to envision the end product.Once we were satisfied we signed a contract. Renu is very efficient and are very comfortable performing condo renovations as they were able to abide by the strict covid protocols of our building. They also followed noise reduction guidance and ensured the demolition work was FAST and only during the allowed time of day. We were assigned a PM/General Contractor who oversaw the work of the demolition/construction/renovation work from start to finish. Our renovation involved removal of a drop ceiling, installation of new lighting, complete removal of old countertop/cabinets and flooring and installation of brand new floors, cabinets, quartz countertop, backsplash and installation of several new appliances. Their tradesmen all did a good job. They also did a professional cleanup of the condominium once work was completed. This was all done in about 45 days (not including the design work, visiting showroom and signing contract). So pretty fast considering the amount of work. The price was competitive and very fair.We had a few minor issues in which a cabinet door didn't close properly and the wrong front face of a cabinet was installed. Renu was very apologetic and responded promptly and scheduled their renovators to come back and fix everything. We did not have to wait long for these issues to be remedied. Aside from that, there are a few minor scratches or wear on some surfaces that I think could have been avoided but are not really noticeable. Our friends and family have been very complimentary of our kitchen and we love it!Considering the time they had to do this work and the price, we are very pleased and it's a solid 4/5. I would recommend them to other Condo owners looking for Kitchen or Bath remodels/updates.Feedback to renu: If Renu offers slightly more material/design options in the future, and if they can focus a little more on attention to detail (minor scuffs after install and better solution for base cabinet trim) then they would be a 5/5. They should also have a wall to show what backsplash tile will look like when installed (or photos) as our backsplash wasn't quite what we expected (though we still like it). Looking at the tile itself doesn't reflect how it looks when actually installed with grout.Good job to the team at Renu!

Looks fantastic, great value, and terrific customer service. Renu redid my condo kitchen and bathroom in 4 weeks, on time and within budget. Sarah and Berry had lots of helpful suggestions and promptly answered all of my questions throughout the process. What impressed me the most was their internal quality control! A few times, I spotted some minor issues when I visited the site, only to find them fixed a few days later, without my asking. It turns out that Sarah and the Renu team are always checking and taking care of things behind the scenes. I really appreciated their attention to detail and have already recommended Renu to my friends.Small tip: Renu does not install appliances, so if you’re keeping your existing appliances (e.g., dishwasher), you will need to get them reinstalled by someone else after the renos are finished.

We recently had RENU renovated my sister’s condo. From the initial estimate to the end product, Sarah, Berry, Jason and their team were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, organized and efficient. The work started and finished exactly as per the scheduled dates in the contract which spoke volume of their experience and organizational skills. Though I must admit we were a little concern of the large deposit requested (40%) at the beginning of the project but after further discussions with Sarah and Berry, we felt comfortable in putting our trust with them and we have no regrets. The new kitchen and the two new bathrooms were renovated amazingly beautiful. Their attention to detail and impeccable clean-up work did not go unnoticed. They even fixed up areas that the previous contractor took short cut on. It was a day and night transformation.One further note, because our condo was vacant we were not present when the work was carried out. RENU, however, has an App for us to track the renovation progress. Photos were uploaded on a regular basis for us to view online and we received frequent email updates.All in all we were impressed with the service from this team, right from the projected estimation to the step-by-step logistics of the reno process and post clean up. We've done a few renovations before with different contractors, but have never met a more competent and trustworthy company like RENU. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking to remodel their condos!
