We were enjoying the gym and the professionalism of the trainer Antonio very much.Unfortunately the organization and administration is not up to the same level. They had our credit card number and made liberal use of it - charging us over $2000 well before the next payment was due and did not respond to any of our texts or calls to get the situation rectified.Although we, in theory, have a credit for MANY more personal training sessions we will not be availing ourselves of them. Trust has definitely been broken.PRL

Great local gym. Very spacious, bright and well equipped and definatly one of the most beautiful gym in Montreal. The staff are truly friendly and trainers are are very competent! Love the care they take to make sure the space is spotless and disinfected and that there's a glove, mask and towel service for all and that all the members are really friendly. You can forget your wallet on a treadmill and it'll be there the next day for sure. Highly recommended!

Small but cosy gym. Only 1/5 treadmills were working, they replaced only 2. Really? So most of the time you cannot even run because it's too crowded (obviously). It's a pretty cheap behaviour, considering the admission is not cheap - at all. The staff is nice though, but I hope they will try to make the experience better for their clients.

This is a Simple small gym with good trainers and ample equipment. I’m in a hotel that had a few machines and minimum weights. Good to know you guys are right down the street! D

I have know Gymnasia for quite a while now. Having said that, I must say that overall I am happy with the gym. This is an Old Montreal gym, so it is indeed focused on offering customer service first with a fairly complete choice of exercise equipment to choose from. You can do a full body training with everything they have and the staff is always willing to help you if you need advice or suggestions. Also if you have any concerns, the owner will be there to listen and do his best to rectify or improve on what the issue may be. Also, Gymnasia offers great One-to-One training and personally, my trainer Jordan, which I obviously recommend, is an excellent trainer and has been the best coach I've ever had, helping me get the great results have been able to achieve which just helps in making Gymnasia a great Gym for me. So if you want a people focused gym in a family like setting, I do recommend Gymnasia.

Owner is sketchy, doesn’t pay his employees on time (months later, with weird excuses, IF he pays), he seems very dishonest, trainers have left because of this, but he doesn’t admit it, prefers blaming them. That’s why there are often changes in trainers. It is disorganized, clients have complained and trainers too. Trainings are good, thanks to the employees but the organization/administration is very weird. The place itself would’ve been a gem if it wasn’t for the sketchy owner. Don’t recommend working there and for training there, just be ready for some unpleasant surprises since it’s disorganized sometimes, but the trainings are fine.
