City Fish

This is definitely one of those places where you gotta have the right expectations. As others have mentioned, they are a wholesaler, and would probably do just fine without taking walk-ins. With that in mind, I was amazed by how patient and courteous Sam was, even helping to check stock/brands for a couple items despite being busy. I will definitely be back, which I must say is more to my benefit than theirs!Study their list online, don't expect less common items to be in stock (call ahead!), and bring cash.

I have had excellent experience at City Fish so far. Seafood are always fresh as promised. The packing have been really good to ensure seafood remain fresh while you travel home. I would definitely recommend this place to seafood lovers. Their Salmon and Tuna are of Sushi quality.

RECKLESS!!!!!! CARELESS!!!!!DANGEROUS!!!!!!I was driving home yesterday traveling on stony trail then exiting on crowchild trail east when the CITY FISH CUBE VAN suddenly crossed three lanes of traffic then swerved into me almost running me off the road, base on what happen to me and what I have read in the other reviews CITY FISH has a serious problem with the way they are driving their delivery van. If they have not resolved this problem obviously they don't care!!!!!

If you’re planning on having a sushi night with a group of people, I highly recommend them! So much seafood at a great price! I called ahead to make my order. They were so helpful in helping me figure out what to buy. The seafood also tasted great!

they are a wholesale distributor so if you need to order there is likely a minimum to order depending on what you need, but got great quality salmon for sushi making at home and it was still reasonably priced! just need to call to order in advance. the store hours are limited so make sure that you order in advance !!

A few tips for all the people that havent had a good experience here: They sell great quality seafood for real cheap because they sell volume to restaurants. They would not survive wasting their time with small fish like myself. With that said, they are gracious enough to serve the general public on a walk in basis on a couple conditions: bring cash, and understand they dont have time to answer all your questions. Know what you want to buy before you walk in the store and ask for what you want. They will then give you exactly what you want or offer the closest thing they have.Asking for a menu or what they have in stock is going to annoy them, and rightly so, they are a wholesale fish store, not a customer oriented boutique.I am thankful they serve amazing fish at wholesale prices and I dont have to buy wholesale quantity.Keep this in mind and you will do fine. If you want fawning customer service and lavish descriptions, go to sunterra.

Great prices, especially if you’re trying to make homemade sushi. Couple friends and I bought a filet of salmon to make various dishes of and it came down to around less than $80 for the entire thing. Which is much cheaper than going out to a restaurant! The quality of the fish was amazing without any sort of hint of fishiness. Will come back to try their other products.

I was trying to find good quality Salmon for Sushimi and came across this place. They are so friendly and helpful. The fish was so delicious and it melted in your mouth. They also had it packed perfectly it stayed nice and cold. Thanks for being so patient and kind.

This store offers quality sashimi at reasonable prices. Love the tuna, red shrimp, Japanese scallops and octopus legs.

I went to get me some crawfish..which was ok. But the lady behind the counter wasn't helpful ..i needed to by some crab but when I asked she asked me what kind ..and I don't know names so I asked for a list. But her answer was like we serve restaurants and we don't have one. As if she is telling me don't come back ..althought I was gonna send the list to my co workers and buy for them .. anyways bad customer service .oh they only take cash ..no debit or visa so keep cash handi
