Canine Clubhouse is a great place to take your dog for both daycare and boarding. Staff are always friendly and enthusiastic. I feel my fairly high energy dog always gets the play, love, and attention she needs while staying here. 5 stars.

We’ve been going to Canine Clubhouse for a while now for both boarding and daycare and we love it! Our dog always comes home tired and happy. It’s great to be able to see photos of the dogs on social media throughout the day too, it always looks like they’re having a blast. I can’t recommend Canine Clubhouse enough. Thanks Caroline for all the work you do!

Have been going to the canine clubhouse every week for daycare since April 2022 and it’s one of my dogs favourite places! She knows when we get there where she is and gets super excited! I really appreciated their thorough process when interviewing and deciding if my dog was a good fit, it reassured me that the other pups would be well behaved and not an issue. You can tell Caroline puts her heart and soul into the business and they care so much about every dog! Highly recommend.

My pup had some trouble being trained and they helped me tremendously! Highly recommend to anyone who needs a doggy daycare and I will continue to use this one. My pups no longer afraid of socializing and is super good around other dogs and people now. Love this daycare!

The owners were very professional. My dog is always happy at drop off and when its time to go he doesn't want to leave. Have to bribe him with treats.I'd recommend these guys everytime. Its clear how much they love dogs. Thanks for all the hard work you do!

TLDR: owners were always professional, but my dog showed signs of distress attending which she only ever displayed at the CC. I do not think this daycare is able to handle the amount of dogs they take on.All the Context:I started taking my dog to the CC after the The Ruff House closed (where she had been attending multiple times a week for 10 months). I wanted to do the same schedule at the CC but found that my dog was having a hard time adjusting to the new daycare. She was attending CC 2-3 times a week for almost two months. While there, I started to notice several odd things:First was my dog's behavioural changes. She would be visibly scared at drop off and want to stay in the car, which was extremely odd since she loves daycare more than anything, including food. She would be shaking and whining, but I convinced myself it was fine since she greeted the owners like anyone else and didn't seem afraid of them. I thought in time she'd adjust but the reluctant behaviour only increased.Second, was the change in her energy level. My dog is an adolescent and if surrounded by friends, she doesn't sleep unless she is forced to or is so tired she falls asleep standing up. But after 10 hours at the CC, she would be extremely energetic and not tired at all which was unusual. It got to the point where my dog, who had always been a fantastic sleeper overnight, couldn't settle until an hour or two past her bed time.I began to suspect that she was crated much longer during the day than the 2 hour nap time. When I inquired how often she was being crated, I was told that other than nap time she was having free time and mostly played. This didn't align with the dog I brought home though. The level of energy my dog was displaying after pickup was like she had just been taken out of the crate and had the zoomies. Some days I could tell she had just been sleeping when they carried her out because her eyes weren't fully awake yet. This was in stark contrast to her behaviour at the Ruff House or her new daycare she attends now where she falls asleep within five minutes of getting in the car and then sleeps again once we get home. After six weeks of this not getting better, I was nervous for my dog's care and immediately started looking for a different daycare situation. I didn't inform the owners of this decision as there were other things that convinced me to take my dog somewhere else. One of those was the smell. For past patrons of the RH looking for a new daycare, you will need to adjust your expectations on how often the facility at the CC is cleaned. RH was constantly cleaning their daycare every time I was there and despite having up to 50 dogs in a day, it never smelled of dog. This is not the case at the CC.The smell is apparent at drop off or for any potential client coming in for their assessment. At first, I thought it was unfair to compare it to RH since CC is much smaller, but I have now been to other facilities of the same size that don't have this problem. The bigger concern for me was the way my dog smelled. She smelled strongly of unclean, unwashed dogs as if the bedding in the crates and facilities had not been cleaned for weeks and she was spending a lot of time inside of them. Usually my dog smells fantastic for the first two weeks after a groom, despite regular visits to the dog park and hikes. Yet after one day at the CC she smelled like she needed a bath. There were also other concerns re: barking and matting on her coat, but I don't have the space to explain. Overall, there are much better daycares and I'd pay close attention if your dog attends the CC. I believe this place is overburdened by the amount of dogs they take on and this results in a lower quality of care for the dogs and their facility. But I hope they are able to bring on help to amend these issues, as the owners were always very professional and passionate about their business.

Had to go out of town and had to leave our dog Sadie there for the weekend. Grateful to the owners for being able to take her last minute. She was super happy when we picked her up. Excellent care from the owners!

Would recommend this place to anyone! My dog Lupin absolutely loves it there. He’s a 5 lbs Schnoodle and he now plays with dogs if all sizes (instead of being scared of them), he comes home absolutely pooped, which is exactly what we needed: his energy to be used somehow. Corey and Carolyne are awesome as well! Highly recommended!

I’ve been taking me dog henry here for months. We’ve been looking for a doggy daycare for awhile now and finally found the perfect one. We spent some time with the owners and you can tell they really care about the dogs in their care and meets their needs accordingly. It’s a great environment, super clean. It’s helped us out a bunch. Really recommend this place to anyone looking for a doggy daycare.
