I inquired in person if they accepted rolled American coin in American wrappers.I was told yes. I even called in to confirm.They did not tell me; one (1) roll per person.I showed up with $61 in rolled coin.I was told by the young man; only one roll. I replied that I was told differently.I asked to speak with his manager; at which point they made an exception.The young man then proceeds to 'open up' each roll and counts them visually;then tells me that the .25¢ rolls are each $2 short.I told him they were not.He tells me that each roll holds 40 quarters which equal $8!I said, 'I'm sorry but regardless if it is Canadian or American, 40x .25¢ = $10!How did he get hired???What a waste of time!Happy to get rid of fiat; BTC is the new digital cash!

I did some research and found that this place has the best rate in Vancouver (at least in my case, Cad to Euro). Professional and friendly service. My transaction took a bit longer than expected and Garo was kind enough to call me to ensure it went through.

As many others have reviewed, you will not find better forex rates or staff in the city. Kevin is an absolute gentleman who cares about his work and his clients. My bank offered to match the rate but why not offer that from the beginning as VBCE does?VBCE offers a disruption between banks and does so with superior rates and amazing customer service. Only positive experiences with VBCE. Every staff person I have spoken with is helpful and responsive. Their rates are much better than a bank's. In fact, an RBC employee recommended me to them in the first place.
