National Sports - Waterloo

Love this store. There were very few people around to help but i didn't mind. I was in and out in about half an hour and got everything we needed....2 ball gloves for fall ball, 2 sets of batting gloves and a pair of skates....al for about $160....skates were half of that bill....still inexpensive.

The one down fault of this store is it pricey! But the staff is awesome! And you can always get stuff if your looking for stuff when come to the Jays, Raptor’s and Leafs and anything sport related

They have frequent discounts event. I bought many good clothes here. The disadvantage, however, is that the size of the inventory does not varies. Therefore, you should visit quickly when you offer discounts.

Honestly, staff is more then happy to assist you, even answer the phone at one minute to closing to simply put an item in hold for you.They had a nice deal on the McKinley fleece sweaters reg 44.99 and were on sale for 15. They had one color in the floor at the time in my size but I assumed the other color was out of stock so I asked and they grabbed me one from the back.I don't think there has been one time I have left empty handed.Has a lot of everything though and staff generally know there areas like the back of their hand which is nice seeing you can show an item on your phone and they'll take you right to it.Never had a negative experience visiting there.

I had great customer service here in the baseball section. The fellow was able to help me make an informed decision as to what kind of bat I needed. :) He came around to ask if I needed help I didn't have to find him. That had a decent sale on too.

National Sports Waterloo offer a very good variety of sports gear and apparel. You are likely to find whatever you are looking to buy.The aisles are not narrow so you don't feel cramped while browsing items.Deal prices here cant be beat and the staff I met were very polite and helpful.Overall an excellent experience.

I visited National Sports specifically to look at hockey sticks and was pleasantly surprised by their large inventory. Many products were on sale and seemed to be offered at lower prices than competing sports stores. I visited SportChek shortly afterwards and was shocked by little inventory they had in comparison. I would gladly return to National Sports when I am ready to make another purchase.

My shopping experience today was not what I would expect of a retail store. The salesclerk was extremely unengaged, asking for help was a bother and as she even seemed to get annoyed when we asked for assistance. I really felt like we were an inconvenience that kept her from stock and from her conversation with other store associates, as this is the only time she seemed pleasant. We found what we needed and the cashier was very pleasant, why i gave the 2 star. I do not normally give reviews but this really bothered me today, even my daughter commented on how rude the sales person was.

Great service. Unfortunately they didn't have what I was looking for, so I'll have to go elsewhere.Follow-up: went back to try to order a custom Blue Jays jersey (blank jersey plus letters). They couldn't do it on the spot since they had to order in letters and numbers despite wanting a jersey for a current and popular player on the roster (Ryu Hyun Jin). Gave the store manager my info so they could follow up on ordering the letters. They never called back...Ended up buying the jersey while I was in Toronto. Oh well...

I purchased a North face jacket from National Sports about 400$ and unfortunately I didn’t use it for three months until a few days ago. Cotton threads comes out of it and stick to my clothes. When I contacted the customer service, she rudely replied to me that it’s my opinion that National Sports has brought this awful jacket and they don’t accept return option for their defective product.
