Super helpful people that I would happily deal with again if I’m anywhere near Parry Sound. I needed to purchase some insulin late on a Saturday night. They were open and we’re willing to issue it without a prescription as long as I paid for it. The pharmacist, Dynh, suggested that I call back the next day and they will try to recoup my $39 expense through my own pharmacy in Burlington. Call Dan Dennis team was super helpful. They went way out of their way to contact my pharmacy, get the prescription transferred to Parry sound, obtain a copy of the receipt, issue me a credit on my credit card and then return the prescription to my pharmacy in Burlington. Talk about great service. Well done.

As a local person I can say that the sheer number of new or seasonal customers who decided to stay in the area during Covid overwhelmed the store. The continual increase in the population during Covid and and afterward has been difficult. This is not Toronto and before Covid, all filled prescriptions used to fit in the drawers. They did not need baskets or repurposed counter space. If you recently moved here from southern Ontario, have some patience. Your presence here means we likely need a second location to meet everyone's needs. I have to wait now too.

Camping at Killbear and my skin was super dehydrated so I came over to shoppers in need of a moisturizer. Ian was extremely kind and knowledgeable! He helped me find a product to that I’m excited to use for the trip and on. Thank you!

A whole lot of people scurrying around doing a lot of nothing. I count an average of 5-7 people behind the prescription counter and yet there is almost always a line-up and still only one person on cash. In 8 visits I only observed them call a second person to another cash ONCE. They have lied telling me they did not receive a prescription request in person and yet magically I received an online notification minutes after walking out of the store. On other occasions they said they needed 20 minutes to prepare" my prescription which turned out to be a dry powder in a jug which is to be prepared (read mixed with water) by the patient just before taking. Repeatedly false and misleading information provided. I am looking for another pharmacy in the area that has their act together."

Although very busy - the Pharmacy staff are always polite and courteous and go the extra mile to assist their patients. Extremely happy with the Pharmacy and the care we receive

I moved here in August of last year... I have had nothing but problems at this location.I use Shoppers drug mart always and have been for years. I can honestly say that this is been the first time I've considered changing Drug stores.This store is the most disorganized I've ever seen and these poor employees are under mega stress.Each time I get my blister packs and medications I don't know if I'm going to get the right pills or Even get all the ones i require . They claim at times to run out of proper pain meds and will send out a different pain med in its place without doctors or patient being contacted. It's a blessing if you get all your medications at once on time and the correct meds.Custimer service is at zero as these employees are stressed to the max so customers are not getting the time required to speak to someone. It takes 5 mins of solid ringing before they pick up the phone.There is something very wrong at this location.

Tried reaching pharmacy.... waited patiently with no answer, then when someone finally picked up, they just hung up!

I had a positive experience at this pharmacy. I waited until I received the confirmation email that the prescription was filled and then when I went in to the store to pick it up, Brandy was polite and quick at the desk. Thank you for the important job you do during this challenging time.
