This was my second visit to Embarcadero and my second visit was infinitely better than my first.I thoroughly enjoyed every dish, the daily oysters were so fresh and juicy. The Beef Carpaccio was mwah chefs kiss, SO GOOD!! The Oyster Florentine was amazing and not too overwhelmingly creamy and I decided to go with one of the dishes on special tonight which was lamb chops, it was so incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned. I would 100% order it again. The service was alright, nothing good or bad to say.

Had a decent trip to Embarcadero for a birthday dinner. The space is quaint, a little tight for room but otherwise comfortable. The food was fresh, service was decent, but found the portions to be on the smaller side. We did have to flag a wait staff person down to get water a few times.

This is our favourite place to go for oysters in the city. They have a different oyster on special every time we visit and love to try the different variety. The bacon wrapped scallops are ok but not as good as the carpaccio. The carpaccio here is probably one of the best in the city and if you come here and don’t get it, then you lose!

They have $1.50 oyster special everyday which I love. We tried lobster pasta, shellfish gnocchi , Thai green curry vege balls and beef burgers. I remember the pasta and used to be really good few years back, before covid but now it was 7/10 for me..it’s not bad but not worth the price (over $30). Shellfish gnocchi is bit more expansive than the pasta. It didn’t have enough sauce, dried and not enough seasoning? It was blend.. won’t order again. Thai curry was pretty much curry broth and didn’t get a spoon. Taste wise.. 5/10 for me, it wasn’t even a green curry. won’t order it again. Burger, I don’t eat beef so I only tried fries. When we visited here on Sunday evening when it was not so busy, it was crunchy and well fried potato fries but few weeks later, we took our family on Saturday for dinner, fries were soggy and food presentation was not the same.I want to go here only for the oyster special but they have some rules that you have to order other food as well.

This hidden gem is located close to Stampede grounds on 17th Avenue. Lots street parking, might have to pay depending the day and time you go. The building is a conversion of an older house, but is very nice.I've been to this restaurant twice now. The best and must have is their daily oyster social.Select fresh oysters for $1.50 each. The second best in my opinion is the Beef Carpaccio, it's delicious. Their onion ring has a crispy batter and is very good too.We ordered mostly appetizers and just shared a couple entrees between the 5 of us. Because we ordered lots of fresh oysters.Highly recommend this restaurant, the prices is very fair.

I like the crispiness of the fries and also fish and chips what could go wrong. One thing I really didn't like how expensive and how big the portions are for the appetizers so you got full on them. The Jambalaya soup or base was delicious. The muscles and sausage was fine. And I love shrimp so it's always going to be good for me. I really liked the root beer they have. And all alcohol whether a draft beer or cocktail, all taste alike to me so I wouldn't recommend the wine but I still think it was good.

The Denman oysters were very good and I thought the house hot sauce was the best of the options. The jambalaya was good and the sausage nicely spiced. Portion size may have been a little small. The lamb was good but the vegetables were a little under cooked for my taste. Service was excellent from the greeting to the advice on food choice and wine suggestions.

This is our second time eating here for the fresh oysters. Coming from the West Coast, I was skeptical of eating oysters because generally they don’t taste fresh in Calgary. This place knocked it out of the park where even my husband approves of it. There’s no happy hour but rather $1.50 daily feature oyster. Today’s feature was the world famous wild oyster from Mapelbeque Bay, BC. It was smaller compared to the feature oyster I tried last time—don’t remember the name but I recall it was a small but mighty oyster ending in “petite”—the texture had more of a chew when you bit into it, no sand, and the salty mineral finish was clean. This oyster paired really well with the Korean bbq sauce that they give you.The interior of the restaurant is outdated, the space could be better used as majority is booths. I noticed that the bar takes up most of the space in the main area and the servers have to go around to bring the food in. Tonight was only one server and they were delivering 10/10 service. We didn’t notice any lag in quality of service.

We started off the night with the oyster platter, which was an amazing way to try each oyster they have.We then ordered our favorites! The vegetable bowl was a nice, mild curry dish.I do warn you that it does smell fishy inside but my sniffer is a little more sensitive these days. We asked to be seated outside and enjoyed the patio. The service was great! Our food was out in a timely manner. If you’re looking for a good oyster- this is the place!
