I absolutely love this place ! It is my only go to and I have sent all my friends here as well and everyone loves it! If you need your hair done- see Danielle - she is just so fantastic! If you need your eyebrows done- see Anna; she is the best eyebrow queen ever. All staff very friendly and it’s always a good experience. Look forward to every visit I have here. Thanks !

Horrible experience. If I can give zero stars I would. They offered me no slippers to start, I had to walk on everybody’s hair. Next when it was time to style my hair, I specifically told the guy that I wanted the diffuser for the blow dryer for curls with curling cream, he looked confused. Then he puts it on very hot a sticks the diffuser to my head burning my scalp. If he knew anything about curls, you don’t put it on hot as it will frizze the hair and you don’t stick it to the head and you don’t use it until the hair is completely dry. This guy had really bad experience and the worst part is, is that I was told he’s been there for years! Then when I asked for the cream, he was so cheap, only gave a pea size. When I asked for more, he went to a cheaper product that was a clay and not a curling cream. He also tried to blow dry my hair while styling it to the side with his hands when I asked for curls. There was not 1 curl when he was done. I was furious and went to the bathroom and watered my hair and re-did everything from scratch myself because clearly this place has incompetent people working. Then when it was time to pay, he didn’t know how much change to give me back. I had to repeat it 3 times. So all that to say, no welcoming slippers, left with socks full of hair to put in my boots, burnt scalp, stingy on the products, self-styled hair and can’t count. Not to mention my head was burning all the way home. Had to jump in the shower right away. Horrible place!

My experience at this hair salon was very pleasant. Very welcoming and friendly place. My hairstylist made my hair look amazing! She was attentive to my wishes and gave me the best new hairstyle that suits my face features. I loved her attention to the details. Thank you, Melissa!

Melissa is the best!! I had a bad colour done on my hair, and I was nervous to get it done again ( I had gone to two other stylists before). Melissa did an AMAZING job on my hair and was super careful not to damage it and leave it beautiful and healthy! I'm so happy I finally found a talented, caring hairstylist!

I have been seeing Danielle for years and recommend her to all of my friends…and now, to all of the internet!Since I work in a school, I usually do more conservative during the year and do crazy things for summer. She’s done short hair, long hair, dyed me all sorts of fun colours (I think the icy blonde with purple colour melt at the roots was my favourite), and is always up for whatever. She gives my friend a killer Anna Wintour bob, and recently another friend loved Danielle’s work so much that the friend actually *cried*.To conclude: DANIELLE Y’ALL, DANIELLE.Also I appreciate their booking system online but it can be confusing. Just give the salon a call if you get turned around on the website, because everyone else who works there is also helpful and nice.

I've been here twice to see Danielle and she's done a great job cutting my hair. All the staff are friendly, and I like their set up for where the shampoo station is. Fair price as well especially for being downtown. Would recommend, especially if you're new to Montreal and need an amazing English-speaking hair stylist.

The team at l Atelier are extremely competent talented regardful and respectful of their clientele . I have been a client since their opening and knew the team at the previous salon . The mood at the salon is always fun and we have tons of laughs coffee and drinks . Don’t hesitate to visit !! Love you team ❤️(Especially my mami and papi)

I based myself on the reviews and photos I’ve seen of other people getting their nails done and I have to say I’m disappointed after being impressed. The person who did them was very nice, but the quality I received just wasn’t at all worth it for what I paid ($144-145). There are details when from far, aren’t noticeable, but from up close, are. If I had done this myself at home, I would be less or not at all upset and they’re already starting to peeI off. I received a shellac French manicure and a pedicure. My toe nails were cut way too short and I have some swelling on the sides from being nicked. I’m not happy with the turnout and will never come back.
