Clyde River Golf Club

Course is in need of a massive overhaul. Carts don't work well grass needs cut. Signage needs installed directing you to each tee box. Staff are friendly and helpful as they can.be

We had a tee time booked that said no refund if not cancelled within 48 hrs. It was raining hard on the day and we phoned to see if they we open, no answer so left a message for them to call us. Called several times . Drove 1 hr.. to try and find the course, directions not good . When we finally found it no one there and no sign to where the pro shop was. Even on web site it said it was open. All doors locked. Not impressed at all. Don’t bother trying to deal with them if this is the service they offer. Came back and called another club and booked a tee time with them Avondale .

Great course, but when I pay for 2 carts for my wife, son, myself and my other son joins us late and has a membership with a cart. I don't appreciate employees taking one of our cart regardless if it's two per group should at least offer a refund for a cart not just come up and tell us to return it to the club house. Thanks for the hospitality

Absolutely the worst “golf course” if u can even call it that. No signage, carts falling apart, the “fairway” was longer then the rough on most courses, more weeds then u can count. The greens were like walking on a water bed. I wouldnt pay more then 30$ with cart.

One star for cushy fairways. One star for excellent budget rates. No stars for anything else. This course could be as lovely a golf experience as any mid range course on PEI - but I just dont think the value is worth the headaches. Everything is falling apart. The clubhouse is in bad shape with deckboards about to fall through, the bathrooms in clubhouse were disgusting and the bathrooms on the course were a nightmare, the carts were all broken and torn apart. Our cart broke down on hole 7 and the next cart we got to replace it had a broken brake and broken seats. The greens need a lot of help. The sand traps might as well be turned into fairway - theres so much plant life in them. Many of the tee boxes were unmowed and very chewed up. The cart paths were treacherous with many unavoidable deep muddy holes. No one regulating the tee off spots. Many people driving carts all over fairways seeking lost balls with no regard for who is actually on that fairway. Its a shame - as this course with new management and a little investment could absolutely be leveled up -all the bones are there. As it stands, I would not recommend. Cheap - sure - but spend just a little more $ and golf somewhere that can at least meet the basics.EDIT - I just saw there are a number of people here giving 5 star reviews to this place. That is crazy. I feel Im being generous with 2. Theres no way this place rises above 3. For perspective I also rated Andersons Creek and Countryview at 4 - good / solid / but not premier" golf courses."

Great gold course. I haven't been back to Clyde River for over 10 years. A nice course in good shape, well maintained and scenic. Always loved that island green (green surround by water).

The course is in terrible shape, carts falling apart. Ponds are all dried up, the bunkers are weeds and hard dirt. Most signage is missing. This used to be a great course…

This used to be a decent course. Now it seems like they just do the bare minimum. Don't know if I will be back again.

Worst course ever. No such thing as fairways. Brutal greens. Cart falling apart. Should be like $30 with cart for the conditions and it was more than double that.

Haven't been to Clyde River since 2017. Against my better judgement I was convinced it was in really good shape" wouldn't recommend it
