Review Part 1We recently had our wedding at Royal Ambassador on July 8, 2023. Overall the experience was a good one and our day turned out magical and perfect. There were some hiccups along the way and for anyone spending the money for this venue I think it is important to have an honest review before making your decision.PROS: The venue landscape is spectacular. The grounds are gorgeous and very picturesque if that is what you are going for. The waitstaff for our wedding were incredible!!! They were so sweet and welcoming. They came and brought my husband and I drinks and food when we were taking our pictures and kept asking if we needed anything. They were the same during dinner and I really appreciated their attentiveness! The event coordinator Stella allowed us to come to the venue the day before to drop off our decor and centrepieces and we were able to set up everything the night before which saved us a lot of time for the morning of the wedding which was very much appreciated. The food was great and came out on time. The staff saved our wedding cake for us as requested and everything ran smoothly with the late night station.CONS: There was a staff member name Diana Bonilla who was incredibly rude on two occasions to myself as well as my wedding party. The first instance was when she came over to our shot table, did not introduce herself and began opening our bottles. After a member of my bridal party asked her to please not open them yet as they weren't ready to start serving yet, Diana's response was I'm the manager and I can open them if I want to". She never explained prior to this who she was

This is going to be a long review so brace yourselves!My now husband and I had our wedding here 3 weeks ago. We were going to be having a large wedding so back when we had booked the date, we decided to do our ceremony in the Greenhouse and Reception in the Embassy (the entire room). To be honest, in the very beginning we had mixed feelings when we booked only because of the one staff member we we were dealing with. Fast forward to weeks out from the wedding, we had our taste testing and our servers were really nice and said this was exactly how the food would be served the day of. The food was delicious and good portions! Shortly after we had our meeting with Stella to confirm all the details, allergies, numbers etc. She was super helpful and friendly to plan with. She did bring to my attention that to have the full Embassy room we needed Minimum 300 Adults, we were at 260 and though we had missed this on our contract, the person who sold us on the venue hadn't mentioned this to us. Panicking I'd have to pay the difference, Stella spoke with the owner and they were soooo nice to have let us keep the full room. Total numbers I had was 280 (with kids). THAT in itself was huge for us. For our ceremony I had requested there were no tables in the greenhouse, they stuck by it and followed through. Though the hall has its areas it could have a little reno, once you get your decor in there it looks BEAUTIFUL! I was in awe the first time I saw our hall. The beautiful large windows, huge dance floor, the ceiling designs plus our decor through vendors just looked so elegant. From speaking with staff over the phone, to the day of the wedding they were all very nice and helpful. We had the Premium bar and our food was chicken, steak, soup, dessert accompanied by the Portuguese style seafood buffet. We had our guests approaching us how amazing the food was and the good quality alcohol.... we were not expecting that (lets be honest wedding food isn't always like home cooked food). Everyone had an amazing time, and left with their stomachs full.The following morning I realised I forgot one of my DIY projects (had been moved from our greeting table to the Conservatory room where our buffet was placed). I called them and they said they would check and get back to me. About 4-5 days later I called back to get an update and they still had it and set it aside!Everyone has their own opinions, and we went into this simply hoping for the best and 'whatever happens, happens'. We got married in March knowing that their beautiful landscape may not be visible if there was still snow. Well, our pictures turned out AMAZING because everything was a crisp white!I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone. Just really read the contract carefully even if you feel like everything was thoroughly explained to you, mistakes can innocently happen!Thank you again Royal for the customer service, following through what you promised and making our day memorable! Our friends and family keep telling us they want to relive it again!

I've had the absolute pleasure of photographing weddings at this venue on a handful of occasions and all I can say is - WOW. I love this place!!First things first - it's a really beautiful venue inside with big arched windows and elegant table cloths, chairs and other details. It straddles that balance between being classy but not overbearing with fancy.The outdoor area is where this place REALLY shines, though! We're talking beautiful stone landscaping, massive lush gardens, lots of grassy areas for games/mingling, a big waterfall for photo ops, and a massive lake-front gazebo that is surrounding by amphitheatre inspired levels for guests to see an outdoor ceremony take place. If all that wasn't enough, the sun sets at the other end of the lake - making this an incredible spot for photo sessions when time is right.The staff are also some of the best I've ever experienced too. Always asking guests if they needed anything and were super prompt with food delivery and dirty dish takeaway. My clients have always had amazing things to say about their experience with their wedding coordinator to make sure everything was just right for their special day.I really can't wait to work at Royal Ambassdor again because I know it'll be an easy going day and photo sessions around the grounds will look fabulous!

Alright, I don't know where to start. Wedding is once in a lifetime experience and when you start planning you have lot's of expectations but really don't know how it will all goes.Signing a contract with professionals like Royal Ambassador makes everything easier. On a wedding day (13th of May) everything went smoothly and as planned. All the crew were extremely nice and supportive. You just needed to turn around and you would find someone asking what you need. Before wedding Stella was always responsive and open to answer all our questions. Always patient with our requests.We came all the way from Quebec because we fell in love with this amazing place. And to be honest it was beyond description.The food was very good and we heard good comments from our guests too, The bar and bartender were amazing.If I wish to change few things it would be maybe being able to choose your own timeline for gazebo. Because we chose the Lakeside gazebo and we had so much time limits. Or maybe the minimum amount of guests which left us with no choice and we had to pay extra because we didn't have that amount of guests. And lastly maybe availability of a tent near gazebo for guests in sunny days.Overall I really want to thank you for making our day so special and for your collaboration.

It was a lot of fun capturing Andrea and Adriano’s wedding at this venue during the winter holiday. While the beautiful outdoor aspects of the venue such as the gardens and stone patio were not available due to the weather, the spacey interior and large windows made for some great castle like photos which Andrea and Adriano loved. Great venue for multiple seasons!

Had my quinceañera here during march and it was great the service was great the staff was friendly and really efficient with their job the food was spectacular & the tables were set perfectly and everything went smooth this place is amazing
