Western Pet Supply is the best! Always super friendly and knowledgeable. Even on a long weekend holiday Andrew made sure I had necessary dietary supplements for my cat when he really needed it. The staff truly care about their customers and pets and will do everything they can to help you out. Not to mention they always have some kind of fundraiser on the go for animals in need. Couldn't recommend them more!

Hit and miss. The lady working never makes you feel welcome and is very blunt toward customers, witnessed it and experienced it myself. Everyone else has been helpful especially the new" guy...new cause i never seen him before.Spent thousands over the years here and recently just stopped going. I always looked forward to visiting while in corner brook.Anyway thats my 2 cents."

***** 1 star for first time visit *****Went to buy a fish today with my daughter. Unfortunately you are only open on Saturdays and I work every second weekend so getting the time to drive down from Pasadena was tricky. None the less, we got down today and went in to buy one and we were greeted and asked if we needed any help. Told the young man that we wanted to buy a fish. He said certain ones were quarantined and could only purchase the ones that had a explanation mark on the tank. That was fine, she just wanted a fish and wasn't too picky. When he asked what kind of tank we had, I told him it was only a small one and I did not have a heater for it. He told me I would need a heater before he would sell me a fish which was fine. He asked the dimensions and how much water it held but I couldn't remember. He told me he couldn't sell me a heater until I knew the exact dimensions of it. I tried to explain to him or find a similar one but he told me I couldn't buy one until I knew the dimensions once again. I said so basically you are telling me there is nothing I can buy today?" No he said and I was forced to leave empty handed instead of spending the time to help me figure out the correct one I needed and accepting my money that I was going to spend. Stewing the whole drive home

Went there to buy a fish for my daughter for her birthday and the guy that was working sound like he didn't want me to buy one oh you needs that for it oh you needs that for it you can't but that one or you can't buy this one or they are ready this one isn't ready so I did get her one got it on November 4 we just cleaned the tank done everything that needs to be done before the fish go's back in so we put the fish in and it died right away!!!! This store do have poor services

I love this pet store and I love to support local businesses over big box. The staff here are generally helpful and they stock a lot of great products! … If you can get them. My biggest struggle here, is that I often have to resort to going over to pet value to get food for my dogs. This truly bothers me, because I would much rather my money go to western pet. I always buy big country raw meat boxes and side dishes for my dogs. It’s simply the best! The supply here is inconsistent. I am often told it’s due to shipping issues, demand, etc. I only wish that they would sort this out. The programme in place for discounts after 12 boxes of food purchased is also a great perk!

I purchased a baby leopard gecko from there in January. From the day I took her home she wouldn’t eat so after a couple weeks of struggling to get her to eat I took her to the vet. The vet said they should not have sold her to me because she is sick. The vet gave me medicated food for me to try with her but he told me if it doesn’t work there’s nothing more that can be done. She continued to lose weight even with the medicated food. I woke up and checked on her yesterday and her stomach was swollen and she was lethargic. I took her back to the vet and the vet said she is dying. He said it’s nothing I did she was just very sick when I got her. I spent over $400 at the store to purchase bean (my gecko) and get all the things to go with her (vivarium, hides, food and water dishes, food, supplements, etc), I spent $190 for the first vet visit and special food 2 weeks after I got her, and I spent $215 yesterday to get her looked at and euthanized because she was too sick and there was nothing that could be done. I’ve asked the employees at western pet supply and told them about my situation with her and the only one who seemed to care was a man (I don’t remember his name). I sent an email to let them know they sold me a sick gecko and I haven’t heard back. I’m devastated because she was my first pet and I had to put her down after 2 months of having her. The vet advised me to let the store owner know that they did this and it is not fair.
