Curran’s Karate

Such a great place to not only learn Karate but also learn to follow instruction and have respect. Were so grateful for Sensei Ron and his ability to have the attention of a full class but also keep it fun. Our son will forever be an aspiring ninja thanks to Currans!

Ron is a phenomenal instructor. Our son absolutely loves going to Curran's karate, and as parents, It is wonderful to see him so engaged. Ron emphasizes the importance of respect in the dojo as well as at home. We absolutely recommend Currans karate.

Sensei Ron is the best! Our kids have been training with him for 8, 7 & 3 yrs now and they all love it. He is tough but fair and has the perfect balance between discipline and fun. We love that his phenomenal programs have and continue to improve upon their confidence, focus, discipline and life skills in and outside of the dojo. We have the utmost respect for Sensei Ron and are so thankful he plays such an important role in our kid’s lives. Couldn’t ask for a better role model, teacher and coach for them! Highly recommend!!

My daughter has been taking Karate with Sensei Ron for 6 years. In no small part to him and his dojo, she is strong, confident. He is tough but always has the best interests of his learners in mind and heart. If you want confident kids with critical thinking skills, send them to Sensei Ron to reinforce that.

We've had a great experience here! Sensei Ron has adapted his program to fit the needs of my son, and I've enrolled my second son now, too. He has a special, unique demeanor about him that gets the kids to listen respectfully to him, but also adores him, and they strive to do their best to follow the program. Its definitely impressive!

Sensei Ron knows exactly how to treat and interact with each student. He intuitively knows which teaching style each kid needs, whether it is the discipline approach or the encouragement approach! Our child has learned to be more confident and has enjoyed the training very much! Thank you, Sensei Ron! I would (and do wherever I can) highly recommend his classes!

Sensei Ron is fantastic. Our son has been with him for almost 4 years and it's amazing his growth and everything the has learned. Sensei Ron can be firm but also always makes sure kids are learning and having fun, he makes sure they are always doing their best. Most important, our son has learned patience, discipline and focus with the help of Sensei Ron. He teaches as a sport/activity but also as self defence. Our son had an issue at school with another kid and sensei Ron helped him understand how to deal with it, but also used it in his next class to help other kids that may experience the same situation. I would highly recommend Curran's Karate!

Our children have been attending Curran's Karate for many years and I just recently started. Sensei Ron has been a revelation for our family. His programs have encouraged our children to improve their focus, discipline, balance, confidence and fitness as well as helped provide a strong sense of fairness and community. I can't speak highly enough of Sensei's commitment to improvement for himself as well as his students and regularly recommend his dojo to close friends and family.

Curran’s karate has been an amazing experience for my energetic child! She is focussed and has so much respect for Sensei Ron. Sensei Ron has a great, fun and disciplined approach with the kids. An excellent teacher and mentor. Cannot say enough about how much we recommend Curran’s karate!
