Tea At The White House
This is our first time in tea at the White House and we had an amazing experience. We called in the morning to check if they take walk in today, even though they are closed for a private event at 1pm, they were still able to take us at 11am.We ended up arriving a little later than expected but the owner was very accommodating and we called in to order in advance along with our revised ETA so our order was prepared before we were seated and our set arrived about 5 minutes in.That made our experience really smooth and we were able to return the table before the private event starts without feeling rushed at all. Very happy and grateful for the arrangement. As for the order, their scones are made absolutely to perfection, buttery, moist and fluffy. They pair really well with the house made jam. We got the vanilla berries and strawberry jam, the classic strawberry one turns out to be my favourite. There is a buttery aroma as soon as you enter the tea room that makes you really look forward to the scones and they certainly lived up to the expectation. The sandwiches were pretty decent and refreshing but not much of a wow factor (sandwiches are sandwiches). However, the sweets are a little bit of a letdown - both the cheesecake and cake with pink icing were too sweet to our liking. We ended up scraping the icing off in the end. The sponge cake was light and refreshing with a hint of citrus flavour so that was the only piece that we could have without chasing with tea afterwards. All in all we were very happy with our experience here and would definitely come back, but maybe get the set without the sweet next time.

My first time here and was very pleasantly surprised. We came for their High Tea. Great selection of teas! Great selection of tea service, depending on how hungry you are. Great tasting food! We especially enjoyed the roasted red pepper soup with mini cheddar muffins.

A stunningly wonderful experience for those wishing to have High tea or get tea and tea accessories. We had a wonderful meal and tea with scones and sweet treats. Service and knowledge of the variety of teas was fantastic. Special thanks to Joelle for making our afternoon date memorable.

Tea At The White House
We recently visited Tea At The Whitehouse" for Afternoon Tea and it was simple classy elegance! We both had the full tea ($35pp). Everything is immaculately presented with a huge selection of loose leaf teas to choose from. There were lots of fresh berries making the tiers look nice. Our favourite bite was the creme brulee served on the day we went. Take note that the location and name is confusing as there are two tea houses in Waterdown so make sure you're going to the correct tea house in Waterdown when you book (this is the one on the side street in a retail plaza)! Their retail items are also perfect for some quick CUTE gifts. We definitely recommend this Tea experience. #OntarioTeaRooms"

3.5 *I came here post pandemic and again recently for my birthday. Nice clean atmosphere and friendly staff with fast service. It's overpriced for what you get, and disappointing they don't do anything for your birthday when you're paying $32-40 per person for a couple of sandwiches, scones and hot water. I definitely understand costs are increasing but it's just a bit impersonal. The sandwiches are cucumber and cream cheese, egg salad and a small salmon mousse one - really inexpensive to put together. It's nice but I think it could be a little better having been to other tea houses with more intricate food (quiches, meat in their sandwiches) for the similar price.

Absolutely wonderful time here with my wife, mum and mom (mother-in-law). Delaney was our server - she was polite, friendly and knowledgeable - couldn't ask for more! Food was great (even if it wasn't real clotted cream), the place was very tastefully decorated and the presentation was excellent. The array of teas was truly stunning. Highly recommend it and will definitely revisit this gem of an establishment!

Tea At The White House
I love the vibe of this place. It’s relaxed and refreshing. The food is fresh, delicious with something good in the savory and sweet categories. The tea is excellent. They have a fantastic selection of tea. Since I drink a lot of tea, I have started buying my tea exclusively from this place. A friend from Toronto liked the tea leaves from here so much that he always asks me to get some for him, when I visit this place.

Wonderful experience having afternoon tea here with my bestie and her mom. The staff is super friendly and courteous. The tea selection is massive and almost intimidating. But I was able to enjoy it even though I'm not much of a tea drinker usually. The three course tea service was scrumptious. The finger sandwiches are fresh, scones are deceptively filling and fresh with the clotted cream and homemade jams. The dessert selection was impressive too.Reservations are recommended and apparently booked months in advance but it was pretty empty when we visited on a balmy spring morning

Tea At The White House
I went with a group of 9 people for a birthday. We booked about one month in advance and had to put down a credit card and pre-order.This was a charming place with a pleasant atmosphere. The food was presented very nicely and tasted good. Our group did not feel rushed; we were there for around two and a half hours. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable. I've never been to this type of cafe before, but the prices, while a little expensive, seemed reasonable and much cheaper than a similar experience would be in a bigger city.

Had the Christmas tea service with my mom and had a wonderful experience. Have never had so much food for a tea service and everything was delicious! The tea selection is vast and had many interesting options to choose from. Our server was extremely polite and attentive. Will definitely be back again soon
