Head office should see the quality work these people do for them absolutely outstanding, from the phone to the point of sale. Got me in the shop last minute for a big job. Checked over everything, great work and knowledge from mechanic. Truck rides like the day I drove it off the lot

Just a screw in my tire. Took me right in. Was about 45min and it was repaired. Being on a trip from Ontario, I was happy with my experience.

Came out to replace a blown tire on my U-haul trailer in the late evening very quickly. The guy was all business: he pulled up, removed the blown tire, swapped in the new one, tightened the lugs, and was off again in less than 10 minutes. The next morning, I stopped by the shop and they came out to re-torque the lugs to make sure it was in good condition. Everyone seemed friendly and service was quick. Highly satisfied with my experience.

Kingsley, the guy behind the desk, was very calm, knowledgeable, and helpful. They all fixed my car in less time and for a lower cost than I had expected!

Update- Manager reached out and is hoping to make up for the service received. I appreciate the apology and will give this location another chance in the near future.Living in the Yukon, I arranged 2 weeks in advance back in October to have tires on my campervan switched over while down in Dawson Creek in November. Was assured (triple checked due to travelling and weather conditions) by the manager the tires would be there and appointment would be kept. Manager ordered the tires and I made the appointment. Day of the appointment, after travelling 12 hours for school required for work in the Dawson Creek area, I drop my van off at Kal-tire. I am met with complete surprise regarding my appointment by the front end attendant who openly mocks the manager with foul language regarding making an appointment during changeover season. Then told I will not be able to be fit in even after assurances, I press the fact that the tires I require were due to the conditions driving back and I was assured by the manager this appointment would be kept. (cue more insults) After an awkward 15 minutes I'm told with great apprehension I will be fit in. Half way through my day at school I am called to be informed that only 2 tires for my van came from Vancouver. After discussions that regardless of only two showing up I simply need the best tires on my van now, trying to salvage as safe of a ride home as possible, I am told they will get the tires switched over. Van was done at the end of the day, paid my bill for the two tires and I resigned that I would no longer be using Kal-tire as my tire provider after this experience. I own 3 vehicles for which I have traditionally always gone to Kal-tire for tires due to their customer service.I was going to leave my experience at that an not write a review, just move on.Fast forward to this morning. Woken up out of a dead sleep first thing this morning after working through the night by a Bret or Brent, telling me that they have an invoice for my van and four tires..... and that I would have to supply proof of payment or if I had my receipt on hand to provide for the 4 tires.First off only two were installed and paid for. Second may I suggest training staff on customer service, training your front end staff member who rudely dealt with your customer that day and openly mocked the manager with foul language, and training on till for your staff who did not keep track of the payment. If I had not paid for my two tires back in November it would have been an issue in November and I would not have been given back my keys for the van. Go through you books and find the receipt. Don't bother your customers because of your poor service and training because you are trying to balance your fiscal year end and clear invoices.I have my receipt and as I stated over the phone when Bret or Brent stated they would, get back to me regarding it." its not my problem."

Wouldn’t recommend to my friends or family after the experience I had yesterday. Booked an appointment as I was visiting from out of town to have my tires changed over & a wheel alignment. Arrive at the time of my appointment to find out they are running an hour behind. Things happen, I can deal with that. What I could not fathom was how at 1pm (2 hours after my scheduled appt) I called to see if my car had been in yet, and I was assured it had, my tires were switched over and just awaiting the wheel alignment. Then 2:30 (now 3.5 hours after scheduled appt) I receive a call saying my car is ready to be picked up, but could not complete the wheel alignment due to me needing a part. So it took a total of 3.5 hours to complete my tire change over. Not only that, I couldn’t get much of an answer about what part I needed changed or how it prevented the wheel alignment from being completed. It felt more like an excuse to not do the service as they were obviously running behind. I never received the mechanical checklist either after paying. I go out to my car to drive away and notice my other tires were not in my car. So I had to go back into the shop to request them myself. Ryan (the front desk attendant) paged the tire technician who started explaining how trash my tires were and was incredibly rude to the point where Ryan had to tell the technician to “watch his mouth”. I pulled up to the bay to have my tires put in my car and again the technician was telling me how garbage they are, and that I can’t do anything with them and was so arrogant and rude. Not to mention the fact that I never authorized anyone to dispose of my tires. I just drove in poor snow / ice conditions on those exact tires and they were great. Overall super disappointed that I paid $175 for a winter tire change over that took over 3 times as long as I was told it would, and was treated horribly by the staff for wanting something that rightfully belonged to me. The only reason I gave 1 star is because Ryan was doing the absolute best he could during what is obviously a very busy time for the shop.

Great service. Squeezed me in on a busy Saturday, and honoured my warranty from another Kal Tire where another one wouldn't. Highly recommend!

Coming in from Fort St. John headed to grande prairie, ran over something on the highway and discovered in the save on foods parking lot my drivers side tire is flat. Thankfully Kal Tire is only moments away from Save On I drove carefully and they took me in quickly to replace my two front tires (I have a FWD). Thank you Dawson Creek Kal Tire for taking my car in quickly and your awesome customer service! I highly recommend this tire shop!
