Blue Springs Scout Reserve

Amazing experience and wonderful place. My second scouts camping experience with my 7years, 9 years and 12 years. RANGER PAUL was super awesome. Lot of activities at the reserve for any age. Hiking, rock climbing, archery, obstacle course, low ropes, hay rides, disc golf, basketball, volleyball and nature kits.

This is a great place for scout camping! There are huge sites available for large groups, cabins, Adirondacks. Even wooded campsites that back country feel. There are lots of activities also. And Ranger Paul is very accommodating and helpful.

The Blue Spring Scout Reserve is a good budget campsite for 70-100 people. Take the time to celebrate your summer adventure. Appreciating a great, safe experience will help to build anticipation for all the wonderful adventures that lie ahead. ALGONQUIN SIDE On your left - 8 cabins - Total 16 / ALPINE Side - On your right 8 cabins - Total 16 / Basement - 4 showers and 15 mattresses/ CEDAR LODGE - 16 Bunkbeds / MURRAY Lodge - 14 beds 7 x 2 bunkbeds with 2 toillets and shower / Lister Hut - no toilets and showers - 8 beds / Meeting Room for around - 30 people - Trilium Room. For bigger gathering - Dinning room

Camping in the Blue Springs Scout Reserve was a fun but quite interesting experience. Unfortunately, the site in which we all put out tents in were 1. Very dry and 2. Quite rocky. Nonetheless, the cabins provided were adequate enough to provide warmth and shelter. There were a lot more bugs than usual, and no matter how much bug spray we tried to use, more and more kept coming back. The archery, led by Ranger Paul was the best part of the Reserve, as the targets were natural hay, and the course was designed to be outside. The personnel working there were very kind and understanding, even when I accidentally shot an arrow very far away. Overall, I'd say this camp site is very good for scouts and family trips. Might need to water the grass a little.

My first scout Canada Day camping experience with my 6yo and 1 yo (lol he had to experience it). I am so happy we are now a part of Scouts Canada. Look forward to more such adventures with the group.

We try to come here every year for our winter camp. We love Blue Springs

Been there a few times with beavers cubs and scouts always good some places even have indoor showers
