I searched for coin shops on the South Shore of Montreal. This shop is worth the visit. English and French. Jean is a friendly owner with lots of inventory and great prices. A hidden gem in a nice suburban neighborhood with lots of collectibles. 5 stars.

I can't even describe how amazing Mr. Jean is! A very friendly gentleman with a big heart. This is without a doubt the best place to buy and sell banknotes and coins in all of Quebec.

Do not sell your gold here. I got a quote over the phone for a popular coin, he was a full 13% lower than what I got driving 15 minutes into Montreal. I guess he figures people on South Shore won’t bother shopping around due to traffic and gas prices……

After talking with several coin and currency brokers on the phone, I decided to do business with Mr Ledoux to sell my collection of coins and banknotes. It was a good decision. We spent 2 hours going through my collection. In the end, I feel confident that I received a fair price for my collection. Mr Ledoux is an honest man and it was a pleasure doing business with him.
