Rustica's Ristorante Italiano

Went with a group of people all new to Chilliwack and was excited to try something new. Our waitress was very sweet but very new and unfortunately put in the wrong order for myself. Insead of the salmon dinner, i received a salmon sprinkled pasta. She took it back and i was told it would be at least 20 minutes to correct the order. As we were with a group i said i would just try what they made. Wasn't a fan. Picked at it a bit but thats all. When the cheque came, it was on the bill. One of the gentlemen from our party said something to the waitress and she went to the kitchen to ask it be corrected. They said no as i had the opportunity to wait the 20 minutes while everyone ate and have my order corrected. I will not return. Very unfortunate. A $20 bowl of noodles means that i will share the poor experience and rude service i experienced to everyone i meet in Chilliwack. 1 star is too much.

Reservation for 18 at 5:30 served after 8:00pm food was passable service slow price exorbitant. Only two other tables to serve no excuse. Will not recommend.

Amazing atmosphere, fantastic kitchen staff, and attentive and friendly wait staff. The owners though, they're the cream of the crop. Came to my table and engaged in conversation concerning the development process of new ment items. They made it quite fascinating. Five stars, returning repeatedly!

Incredible food and a good atmosphere make this place a no brainer for a special night out. Be forewarned though that this place is a bit more expensive than other Italian restaurants in the area. Well worth it in my opinion!

Excellent food and friendly staff. You can tell the chef cooks with authentic Italian passion.Their homemade bread is excellent. Had tomato basil salad with a vinaigrette that had me ordering more bread to dip.All the main dishes were excellent as well: steak, local salmon, seafood, pasta - reminds me of Tuscany.

The food was absolutely fantastic and the service was without flaw. The perfect romantic dinner.

The food taste, presentation and quality are always spot on here. But the service leaves a lot to be desired. If they would relax the atmosphere a couple of notches, this place could easily be the best in town.

Well my first impression is this restaurent seems ready for family groups or even small Buisness gatherings! I was well greeted at the door. The wine selection is pretty good and I tried the “Copper Moon Malbec” a local BC wine. Nice flavour overall but a little too young so not much body! Bread, oil balsamic cake next and the bread is on the rustic side. BTW I lite my oil candle on my own as they seem to have forgotten to do so. Now comes the “Vittello al Marsalle” So lets also say it a Wednesday night 7:30pm in the prime of the evening and there are 3 tables occupied including mine. The large group seem to be locals most likely co-workers based on their conversations and they are a groupe of 13, the other remains table seems to be a couple. Service so far seems very adequate and I can see from where I am sitting into the kitchen which seems very clean and organized. One comment about the menu it is way off from the online one. Online the menu has many appetizers and much more complete versus the 15 or so actual choices of main dishes once I go here. Overall my main dish was excellent with a perfect wine reduction compliments to the chef!

Excellent food! The food was amazing and the staff were great. Would highly recommend it if you have never been before.
