Staff was helpful. We were a group of 6, and our room had two separate chambers which gave us privacy. Breakfast was enough to keep us up and walking until lunch. Coffee was not good, though. It tasted like it had been in the machine too long.

DISAPPOINTED to say the least. If you're on a budget then I'd go ahead and book this hotel, otherwise RUN! Old, moldy and their breakfast vouchers are a joke seeing how they have a hotel with 60+ rooms and their breakfast room sits about 12 people. Spent two nights there and was never able to redeem my breakfast voucher (family of 5). The first room we were given, the toilet didn't work, the hotel front desk staff accommodated us and moved our room (across the hall) to a room with similar furniture (from the 80s) but at least the everything worked. Oh and the two queen beds that were mentioned when i booked the room were magically replaced by double beds and trust me there's a huge difference for a big family (3 young children).

It is a cheap, good hotel. Dated, but not dirty or derelict. My room was in a good, clean condition. The wifi was surprisingly good, and so was the cable channel variety. Breakfast was also a nice surprise, nothing fancy but the basics were covered, plus the waffle makers are a nice touch. Being close to the highway means easy access to Montreal, with the caveat of having nothing at walking distance, but I don't see that as a problem.

Funky place.I had to ask to change room.The couch was tread bare and sunk when I sat on it... Yuk!The bed looks comfortable )fingers crossed), and the bedspread, curtains and pretty much everything looks like a 1980's flashback.The TV did not work.On the plus side, the staff is friendly and they gave me a new room.It's a cheap kinda funky motel that had the size and costs the same as a larger cleaner more respectable hotel.I'm not coming back here if I can help it ☹️

First time I stay at a hotel in Laval. This place was good on price. The best part was when I got there we met Serge. He was very friendly and got me what I needed in my room right away and he was working the overnight shift. The rooms where ok since there where some stuff broken and wallpaper ripped off the walls but comfortable non the less and fair for the price. I hope anyone else going there has the same or better experience.

I loved our experience at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, it was cheap, the staff was accommodating and the complementary breakfast was a very typical hotel spread.They allowed us to switch rooms when we did not like our orginal family suite, the cleaning lady KU is the nicest person. If you can look past the rough exterior, it's truly a great place.

Affordable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room wasn't in great condition (one of the walls had a dent, visible dirt on walls & window sills), but staff was gracious when we let them know about it. Breakfast was okay. I'd stay there again.

The staff was friendly enough but the first room we got smelled too much like cigarette smoke. The second room didn’t smell as much. The bed was comfortable but the couch was worn out and dingy. The carpet was dirty with spots all over, also the curtains was torn. The cabinets had missing pieace and the tv in the bedroom didn’t work unless you unplug it and plug it back in. This chain needs to step it up and make changes. Bad reviews are going to keep coming in until they do. We’re from the US and have never stayed in a Choice Hotel this bad. Get it together! Overall, I Love Montreal!

very good hotel, only reason I took off one star is because of the AC, it's very loud at times and it can get really cold if you leave it off (reviewed during the winter, results may vary).Worth noting there is breakfast available but after that you would have to go out to get something elsewhere, since there is no restaurant" in the building.Also there is a microwave in the rooms(?) atleast it was in the one I stayed in.There is no fridge so if you plan on bringing in groceries

Wasn’t impressed with this place at all. Staff was friendly but At 180$ a night, I expected a place in MUCH better condition. Furniture in the room was so old and almost looked like it was from the 90s. Elevator was in shambles, as were the couches in the hallways. Stains on the carpets and walls, etc. Absolutely Ridiculous. Just look at the pictures. I’d expect this from some seedy motel at under 100$ a night but for 180$ I could have gotten much better elsewhere. I didn’t even stay the night just from how uncomfortable my partner and I felt in there. A total rip off. I should have demanded my money back but it was late and I didn't want to cause a scene. I just didn’t want to stay the anymore and went elsewhere. Not a very positive experience. Avoid if you can.
