Stone Engraving Ontario

I can’t rate the product, but the customer service has been less than desirable. When looking for companies to use to order memorial tree stones, I made sure to take my time and read all the information that pertained to me. I ordered a month prior to when I was hosting a gathering for an event that was meaningful for two of my deceased loved ones for whom the trees are planted. After placing the order I diligently tracked the orders progress on the status link that was sent with the confirmation. This status was never updated, do not rely on it. I reached out via email to ask about proofs and time line. Eventually I received an email with the art work, and a 5-7 day timeline for processing once the art was approved. I approved the art work same day and patiently waited out the quoted time. When that came and went I reached out again. I received a reply indicating that it was going to take longer because I ordered 3 stones. I was not happy with this because when they quoted me 5-7 days it was with the knowledge that there was 3 stones. They asked that I be patient and give them until the following Monday to complete and ship the order. I waited until end of Day Monday and received no shipment confirmation and no contact saying they missed the deadline. I reached out over the next 4 days by email and phone and got nothing. Eventually when I decided to give one last ditch effort before contacting my credit card company to report an issue with my transaction, which I told them I was going to do, they replied saying they would have shipping info by 5pm the next day. Well, that didn’t happen. Once again I had no communication and no shipping confirmation. I sent an email asking for what I was promised and the next morning I was sent a tracking number. Well that number was only generated and nothing has actually been shipped. I have been watching all day and even set up text alerts to track and there it sits as a created label, but no package scan or pick up. This company can not meet its timelines promised, and continues to string people along. I’m happy for the people who have actually received great product, and maybe that would be in my case too, but this poor communication , continued broken promises and poor service definitely scars the experience. I have communicated that the continued delays will compromise the ability on our end to accept the order due to travel, but they still continue to play the game of lying and stringing me along. If you are considering using this company do not expect any promised timelines to be met.

We ordered a stone commemorating a garden to a relative who died recently. Our order was promptly received, and credit card charged. Within a week or so we received a reply from the business with a preview of the stone seeking our approval, which was granted immediately. The turnaround time for the stone from the approval date was to be an approximate week. After a month of not hearing back from the company we made several contact attempts by phone and email without reply. Only weeks after a request for Visa to pursue an investigation and recover the fees paid, did the company respond by shipping us the stone. No comment from the company regarding this matter was ever received. Questionable business practices at the best. We will also be leaving this as a Google review.

Update:Despite their response to this review, company did not sent me an email to “make things right.” I asked for a full refund and this is reportedly in progress. So if failing to communicate delays to the customer; proving inaccurate information; failing to complete and/or actually ship the product and THEN agreeing to a full refund when you are confronted with the information from UPS is “making things right,” then I guess they have delivered. Please use caution.____________________Buyer beware! Ordered a large memorial stone with advertised turn around time of 10 days. The company did not report any delays/issues with the order, but provided many excuses each time they were contacted for an update on the order.37 days later, the stone still has not shipped. Company reports that the package is in transit by Canada Post and they need to “reclaim” the package to provide a refund. However; the tracking provided was for UPS and UPS confirmed that no package was ever dropped off.Please, please, read the negative reviews about this company before ordering. I am not the first person to have this experience. I have never written a review before and I would give 0 stars if I could.

The engraving is superb. The etched drawing looks just like our sweet little girl. High quality, beautiful stone and great craftsmanship. We are very happy with it.Unfortunately, it took almost 6 weeks after ordering to ship out and a full 7 weeks to actually receive it, which would have been tolerable had I known what to expect. My repeated inquiries often went unanswered and at one point I even thought I may have been scammed. Communication from this company is very sparse and not upfront. When you're dealing with death (of which I had 2 within a month), this does not help. They also would not publish my original review on their website in which I gave them 5 stars. I assume because I mentioned how long it took. Because of this, I took off one star as this is not a way to treat clients and be transparent. We are happy with the stone now and I would recommend them, but just be aware of what to expect if you order from them.

I would not rely on timely delivery from this service. It has been 4 weeks and my order has still not been delivered (website advertised much quicker delivery). Contacting this company has been a nightmare as well. I have reached out via email with no response and have also tried calling numerous times. The one time I was able to reach them by phone they assured me my package would arrive in a couple more days and I still haven’t received it. I’ve left a voicemail as well for a status update and no one has reached out. Would not order from them again seeing as I have no idea if it’s even coming in.

Dale's work exceeded our expectations - he brought into reality exactly what we were hoping for, but even more beautiful than we thought it would be. This man has serious skills. Dale got back to me right away, and got the job done within days. More than impressed with his professionalism and service. Incredible value for what he charged. We are so happy with the result!

So pleased with the stone we had made for our friends to memorialize their dog. This was a new design and it turned out beautifully. It was easy to connect with the company and they kept me informed every step of the way. Our friends loved this touching tribute. Highly recommend this company!

Beautiful work. Excellent service. Top notch customer care. I mean, I picked out the stone and engraving to memorialize my pet, and I didn't love how one of the letters looked in the font i had picked after the draft was ready for final engraving, and they found a better option. It's a very nice way to memorialize my dearly departed furry side kick.
