Truck was brought in on a Monday for a dead starter. Sat in the yard till Friday when I was called back and told the starter was dead! Only then was a new starter ordered, got the truck back on the following Thursday. Not cool. This repair should not have taken this long.Update: I received a call today from the dealership. They were very concerned about what had transpired. I spoke at length with a member of the management team, we discussed the timeline, customer service in general, and managing expectations. This phone call and the resulting information sharing has changed my initial opinion of South Shore Chevrolet. Please note the change in rating from 1 to 4 stars. I will be a return customer. During our year wait for our Electric Vehicle they were in constant contact with us on delivery dates, progress as the car was being built etc. Once the vehicle arrived Luke walked us through the vehicle to the best of his knowledge(being only the 3rd EV at the dealership he did well) and was super friendly and helpful. Found a good deal on a car here, ran into some issues with the car not being ready for pick up. Bit frustrated with that after making a 5 hour drive.They did reimburse me for fuel costs.So all in all ended up happy with the experience.Thanks to the team there for getting it all figured out.

Well we made the plunge and bought a new 2023 colorado z71. We had ordered one in the city as we live in dartmouth but the truck just wasn't showing up. We saw this one and jumped at it. This had to be the best decision of our lives. From the moment we arrived and dealt with Shaun (who is amazing) we felt like family. He was knowledgeable and so sweet. Angie from finance is a gem. Funny, knowledgeable and an all around wonderful person. If anyone wants to continue to think its better to buy close to home you are mistaken. Sales staff went beyond to listen to what I wanted and even alerted me on an impending trade-in (which I bought) and ensured the vehicle met my expectations. The service department has been professional, courteous and accommodating. From regular service, to warranty issues, to tire storage and follow-up, they are definitely 5 star. Staff in the parts Dept. have been very knowledgeable and helpful with information and got my ordered parts quickly and correct. When a minor glitch with a warranty issue occurred, management stepped up and resolved the issue immediately. If you decided to deal with SSCBG and you experience the overall positive treatment I have, you to will be more than satisfied.
