Buyer beware:I paid the $150 they asked to get a compression test done before agreeing to purchase a motor.They sent me a DIFFERENT motor than the compression test videos that they emailed me. Video showed 160 on all cylinders.I did a leak down test and got 2%,1%,1%, and then 9% leak on the cylinders. You can clearly hear the air leaking into the valve cover and intake. I'm not sure what to think but now I'm stuck with a motor with a possible ring issue in one cylinder.

This might be a late review but we couldn't do reviews back then. I had bought a SOHC Honda Civic SI engine there back in 2004 for my ex girlfriend... I asked for the full swap. Got everything but the ecu... Had to call numerous times for the ecu. The deal was excellent though ! I got everything for under 1K ! The engine pulled very hard and went through hell and back and never skipped a beat ! I'd give these guys an 8 on 10. Nobody is perfect... I swapped the engine myself with a buddy. Very easy except the wiring harness had slight differences...

Purchased a Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart air intake snorkel through their eBay store. Chris accommodated my request to sell one item separately. Was promptly shipped next day and arrived 3 days later. Very well packaged. Item was as described and as seen in photos. 10/10 would recommend

Honest and looks realiable ask for chris.Update : Aug 14th 2019 .1 week and a half back my trani was giving problems I was in the south shore and I lost all gears except 1st gear on my honda oddessy 1998. I drove in 1st gear from south shore. To Osaka JDM saw CHRIS and told him what's going on he came to look at the car he said he would fix it up good with a stronger trani for my car. So without appointment I leave the car there . I come back on 14th of Aug. To see the progress the car was already. Done and he was just calling me while I walked inn. I TOOK my car for a mega test drive around the area stop and go park reverse also on the highway 40est at full speed all kind of shifting cause there was traffick and on a stright away hard . The job and transmission is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT NO ISSUES the tranni. Had enough time to warm up and the oil . This place Osaka Jdm is honest and the right place to get your work done .I use my 98 honda Oddessy for delivery with over 40000km on the car. This new tranni is the best . You have to go here. Inquired about a vehicle (2000 Honda Integra TypeR) that was posted on their website and kijiji. I was sent further photos and given a description of the vehicle. The photos and descriptions depicted a rust free vehicle that needed nothing.The vehicle once seen in person did not meet my personal expectations and was not what they depicted in their photos sent, description in text and phone conversation. The car was extremely rusty and needed major repairs. This has been faulted by apparent “technician error”. Please see the photos posted of the rusty underside and hole on the firewall from rust. The photos that were sent were of a completely different vehicle.It’s unfortunate that I had to waste a 10 hour round trip to see this for myself. They were quick to compensate my fuel costs upon seeing my dissatisfaction (I did not ask for this money, jdm Osaka offered it quickly after I brought to their attention my dissatisfaction that this car did not match the photos they sent me along with description). Three used shifter knobs were also handed to us upon leaving the property. This was after many rude remarks from the staff once I had called them out for their business practices amongst other things.It is always considered good practice to never buy anything sight unseen and have a vehicle/parts inspected before purchase.

I purchased a 1KZ-TE from this company VIA EBAY and it arrived in March 2021. It was replacing a 1kz-te that I had in my truck and was installed by a Master Toyota technician. From the onset of the installation, it ran rough. We were experiencing an cooling issue at the same time. I contacted Osaka and I was told that the radiator was the problem. Well no, it was re-cored as part of the install. They continued to give reasons that were associated with the install and everyone was incorrect. I had no less than 10 communications with the company at the time. At one point they were going to send one of their" techs by. They never did. During this time

I bought a Suzuki mini truck from Osaka and was very happy with the service. They were careful loading it on my trailer and when I requested more documents a month or so later I received them promptly. Would recommend Osaka for sure!

Sold me a motor that looked like it had been underwater including a broken turbo oil return line leading straight to the sump. Draining the 'oil' looked as you would imagine. Because no semi intelligent person would bolt this engine into a car we took the head off to find all the cylinders walls corroded beyond honing...basically paid full price for a core. They had the nerve to ask me who told you you could open the engine up?" The go on to accuse me of switching engines on them just to ask for a refund. Maybe this is just how the whole business is...they all make you pay in some form that has no buyer protection. Ask yourself why that is."

I bought is350 engine with transmission from them via eBay. They sent me proper compression videos and I trusted them a bought the engine. When engine arrived I just had to change the spark plugs and remap the ecu, everything was as described. No oil leaks and scuffs. Engine looked Pristine. Drove car over 2000km and so far it’s all good and transmission is as smooth as it should be. Very happy with the purchase
