OMG our room was SO HOT (summer) and bedding was full of cigarette burns. There WAS NOT AC in our room, even though we called and asked. Hallway was 27C and our room even hotter. Great location, you get what you pay for in terms of cleanliness. Waited forever for the guy to come check me out, even though I met him in the hall and said I was leaving soon.

The room stank! There was mold on the shower curtain and handle. The window screen was ripped. Who knows when was the last time they did a deep clean in the entire place. It was disgusting. The only saving quality was the central location. They need to update the rooms a bit: new curtains, remove the carpet, new bed covers, and new paint job.

The matress on the bed was fantastic quality. Decent pillows too. The room itself was fair quality, but the comfortable bed made up for a lot. Great location for all the food and pub venues, and a reasonable walk to most attractions.

Queen bed too big for the room. I suspect queen bed is required for marketing but double bed would have fitted better. Nevertheless, Nice, clean and well furbished.

Room was clean and met all the basic needs. A little small (got the queen bed room) but did the job if you’re going to sleep there at night and be out the entire day.Thankfully we were at the back of the hotel so our room faced Berri as opposed to st Denis, but can get loud at night, especially on weekends. Not the best soundproof walls, but it does the job given the price and location!

Do not stay there. Very rude staff, they creep over you when you walk the halls, they accused us of breaking a fence which was already broken because of the poor condition of the place. The rooms smell bad and the fridge leaked all over the floor. They called the police on us because of the stupid fence and the guy at reception called me early in the morning to come to the desk without letting me sleep. I felt ripped off even at 115$ a night. They absolutely won’t let you be more than 2 in a room, even if guests do not sleep there. Book a airbnb i strongly recommend you don’t go there.

Stayed for one night, at 11:00pm someone tried to open the door to my room and then at 12:30 someone with a key opened the door and I had to jump out of bed to tackle the door and lock it. Needless to say I couldn’t go back to sleep for the whole night.Person in reception said they were going to check the cameras and the following morning the staff was different and they were not notified about the event.There was no explanation about what happened or any compensation offered, just different staff also saying that they would check the cameras.
