Dhaka Bazar Plus

Dhaka Bazar plus is an amazing place for bengali groceries. This place has all kinds of fishes and goats that a bengali would like to have. We went there twice and we were not disappointed. We got rohu fish on the first day and hilsa the next. Prices are pretty reasonable, staff are friendly, and most importantly we got patali gur (a form of jaggery very famous in Bengal).

Best Bangladeshi Grocery shop in Vancouver. Stuffs are humble and helpful. Owner Lemon vai is a great person. Halal meats available. In fact, all items are HALAL here. Must visit.

It's right in the middle of Fraser market. I can get almost all Asian food items such as fish, meat both fresh and frozen from here in this one stop shop. Parking is at the back which is paid about 1.50 for an hour approximately. But you can also park around the residential areas of there is a spot. There is City street parking right in front of the shops as well which is also paid. There are also special handicap only parking both on the front street and at the back. Prices of this store are good, not more or less than other stores but you get all the Asian type food here in this one shop. Dry goods, packed and unpacked food items. Meat is cut into whatever size and quantity you ask for. They have small shopping carts to use in the store. Bags for carryout are not free. Fruits etc are not available here.

They carry good quality Bangladeshi fish. The staff is very friendly. You can call and ask them to ready meat or fish and all you need to do is show up, pay, and pick up your stuff, no waiting necessary.They have recently reorganized their store and it looks a little more organized and cleaner than before but they can certainly make do more in that respect.

Today I went there because my friend suggested here and there was one innocent boy sitting by the counter and there was a butcher there and there was two types of goat meat for $13.99 and there was a leg piece too and I wanted the one for 13.99 but the innocent boy said we have both and I went over the butcher asking for it and the butcher with the hat said to the boy in his language that tell him that we only have the one with 14.99 and then he told me they can only give me the 14.99 one but I feel like that’s not very good and it’s a bit of a cheat but instead I went to Vancouver meats and I was verySatisfied there, and the meat was good quality and a bit more cheaper.

If you are from the East of ‘South Asia’, visit this store and you will never come out not buying anything. I do wish they sold fresh veggies as well but they are more popular for Fish (frozen fresh water )and meat . They have a VERY good variety of fresh water fish.

Awesome place to shop for speciality and novelty Bengali and Bangal items. The prices are a tad bit on the higher side, but as they say, you pay for what you get..

I have boughten 6-pound beef before EID. I have been boiling for two hours but I could not cook that meat. The meat was so hard that I could not eat it and had to throw it all away. I thought it might be one day but no I have bought ten pound beef again, it was the same not cooked well. The quality of his beef is very bad and it is getting worse day by day. I want to know Mr. Bappi is it our fault that we are going to this shop for our regular groceries, Should we stop going to your store? if you do not give us quality full product you should tell us before selling it this is one kind of fraud
