Friendly staff, beautiful view, and fresh Mexi-salads. The food was yummy. The problem for dinner service was the amount of food that was transported upstairs to the sports bar. It took an hour and 15 minutes for our simple meals to show up at our table. Disappointing. Stole time from our evening plans.

After arriving and seeing the lovely view and watching all the eagles, I really wanted to love this place. Our waitress was very friendly …BUT we ordered our drinks and then our food never came! It must have been close to an hour and a half waiting. For the record we ordered two small salads, clam chowder and potato skins. There was no apology or explanation. I thought we’d gotten forgotten about and we had to go ask what was going on. Finally it was getting quiet, the room was clearing out, our food hadn’t arrived and we just had to leave. After a day of travel this experience was incredibly disappointing.

Worst experience ever, we waited over an hour for food which never came at all. All I ordered was a cup of chowder and a side Caesar salad. How hard is that to make? We complained, she asked me if we wanted her to check on it, we said yes. When I asked about it again, so was there an excuse as to why the food was so late?" She didn't offer an explanation. She said I'll take it off your bill ( the food we never got). Totally terrible service

This is a must place to stop for breakfast, the view can't be beat, the atmosphere was so calming and just a complete joy to be part of. Can't wait to head back there !

What a wonderful find this was. We spent 2 days and nights in Port Hardy and had 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners here. Can't say enough good about the friendly staff. Bright dining room with a great view of the water. Fantastic food. Fresh. Well presented and delicious. Highly recommend this as a must try if you are in the area.

Food was gross, my salmon was a preserved dried to perfection , may have been almost jerky, sent it back right away still had to pay for it. For being right on the ocean I would expect way better

Terrible experience in the pub. The place smells like old socks and is very dirty. Tables were filthy and used dishes not picked up. Finally had to go to the employee to ask if we can give her our order, after standing there doing dishes for 15 min rather than serving customers. No go, promises to come over right away and never does. Doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Terrible experience.
