Dong Khanh Restaurant
This is a hidden gem in NE Calgary. They have a wide variety of different types of Vietnamese dishes, with a relatively low price compare to all those over priced pho places these days. The portions are decent, and the tastes are great. You might need to be a bit more patient when it is busy, and there are only the owner and another waiter serving everyone in the room.

Waited a long time before someone taking our order. I have a child and the service took too long to order. We decided to politely ask the front house for box and bags for take out and they were extremely rude to me and refusing to help me. I’m Vietnamese and Chinese and going to a restaurant for my own cultures food.. I thought coming here.. I would have service just like any other restaurant. My Aunty loves this place and she recommended it. But I probably wouldn’t be coming back.

An old school Vietnamese joint serving the yummiest “auntie” prepared dishes at a reasonable price still. Get your fill in before they retire because any future “new school” owner might not get the dishes right and their prices will definitely go up.

Their Hu Tieu Nam Vang is really good but the broth is not quite there, feel like missing something. Bot chien is crispy and good. Will come back and try more

Delicious Vietnamese food with excellent Beef Satay. The portions however are smaller than places in used to, with the regular size being about a little smaller than a pho small from my experience. However is a great small local place that you should visit for great Vietnamese food!

Good Vietnamese restaurant with a home feel to the food and atmosphere. The curry soup was a little oily, hence my 4 stars, but overall the food was tasty and the service was good.
