I have been coming to the Framing Depot periodically over the last 10 or so years. They are always professional and have amazing ideas on framing. Most recently I had a project that was not very simple. I met with Steve and told him my idea and he was spot on in the result. Thanks so much!

My company used frame depots custom framing services few months ago and the phone quote didnt match at all what we were quoted on visit. You can wonder why they ask for your name to log in the quote cause there prices prob vary alot. They were not very professional and everything was very generic and amateur. We were hardly acknowledged when we entered and they were not even busy. They didnt have a good eye at all for frame design and they convinced us on there recommendations we were still very iffy about. There framing quality is very production very commercial oriented. Alas after waiting after a significant delay we dropped in to pick up and we were right and regret going with there recommendations. There hours of operation is so bizarre. They close so early and open so unnecessary so early. Who goes to a frame shop at 6 or 7 or even 8am these days?!?! Lol. It should be the other way around and open till at least 7pm to accommodate the average consumer. We needed some more custom framing work done recently since and we decided to shop around and we came across 4 absolutely fantastic frame shops One in Mississauga Home Arts or something for one of our sauga locations but little out of the way for our locations in North York one on Doncaster Thornhill, another one centre Street Markius galleries in Thornhill and another inside the shopping mall at Yonge and steeles and all 4 were quite very professional over the phone and there quotes were 30-40% less! We've tried 3 of these 3 frame shops so far and we've been extemely happy! They all have there pros cons and specialties however and some work better than others Night and day service and very high quality finished product and they have an incredible eye for frame design! We had our corporate jerseys shadowboxed and our kids ketubahs and family heirlooms and our canvas paintings from Cuba and Punta Cana stretching and framed! It's very important to shop around! Good frame shops are very rare these days! My 2 cents.

I found them while searching on my phone. I have had nothing but a positive experience here. In the last month they have framed five acrylic art paintings for me, plus a large old art piece weighing 22 lbs. I accidently broke the glass. They remounted it in acrylic, which is beautiful. I rely on their framing wisdom. Most helpful. They offer uninterrupted help. I've offered pick up pieces to go ahead to everyone's benefit. Will definitely return. Thanks.

I had a TERRIBLE experience interacting with Frame Depot and do not recommend going to them for your framing needs as their customer service is severely lacking. As a company that offers services to the general public, a business should prioritize prompt communication with their customers and I received very minimal communication from Steve, Rachel and Cicily.I dropped off my signed Raptors jersey at their store to provide an estimate and design mock ups for framing. Despite numerous attempts to contact them via e-mail requesting for finalized pricing and design mockups, I never received any response in over 10 business days. After 2 emails, I finally reached out to them by phone. Steve promised to respond to my email later that day, but I never heard back from them.I was frustrated with the lack of communication so I took a look at the negative reviews on Google Reviews and noticed that their unprofessionalism is a trend. Thankfully, I never paid a down payment so I called again and told them that I would be coming into the store to pick up the jersey I dropped off. When Frame Depot realized they were missing out on a customer, they told me that they have the pricing quotations ready and we can further discuss in person.My gut feeling was telling me not to trust them with my project, especially after reading more negative Google Reviews. Frame Depot’s customer service was absolutely terrible and I would not recommend this business to anyone. This kind of poor customer service is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the company's professionalism and integrity. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for their framing needs.

We had such a lovely experience when dropping off a painting to be framed. When we came to pick it up however there were only 2 staff both attending to customers who needed lengthy attention. We were not greeted nor asked what our needs were. Another person waiting for a quick drop off was also left waiting . She needed only 5 minutes yet was left waiting with us. Our process was needing about the same time. No one attended to us. A young man came in and he was immediately asked what he needed. He was there for a pick up too. One of the staff left the customer needing lengthy time and went and got his pick up! We went to the back of the store found a staff working on pictures and asked him for our painting. He processed our order. I spoke to the staff that ignored us and gave feedback. She said it was hard to multitask. Apparently multitasking was not so hard when the young man entered. I said that they need more staff.(That or training in courtesy and giving 5 minute jobs some space.)

Steve and the staff at the Framing Depot were amazing. Prior to working with Steve, I e-mailed other framing companies for a quote and I did not receive a response back from anyone but the Framing Depot. I made a mock up of my design I wanted and visited their studio. Joana helped me pick out the frame colour, and the placement of the pieces of my plaque. This experience was truly a 5 star experience. I would recommend anyone looking to get a custom frame done to visit The Framing Depot. Thanks guys!

Like some other reviewers I waited endlessly for my work order to be completed. I brought in a completed frame to have the mat re-cut and have a coin added to the layout. I was told by the representative when I brought it in that the owner would have to quote the job and he would call me later that day. After waiting a few weeks of being ignored I followed up and was assured that the owner would return my call. After waiting another month without my call being returned I was again assured he would return my call that day. Today, 3 months later, almost 6 months total wait, I gave up and finally went in to pickup my item and have the work done elsewhere. No apologies or explanation were given. I guess I should be happy that, at the least, I got my artwork back. I used to be a repeat customer and recommended this business to others but I won't be going back and can no longer recommend The Framing Depot to anyone.

I've had several things framed here over the years and it's always been a positive experience. I've used the Le Pix service to upload digital art for printing in addition to framing limited edition pieces. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and the service is reliable.

Always great work. Trusted them for my gallery pieces for years, same as I trust them for photos I hang at home. Not cheap, but you're paying for quality, know-how and intelligent consultation. Steve's a good guy, totally recommended.

Our experience with The Framing Depot was great! Their pricing was reasonable, they responded promptly to our emails and provided us a quick online estimate. Associates in the gallery were professional, friendly, helpful and efficient.We were notified that our three canvas wraps were done well before the expected ETA! We were impressed by the seamless wrap and the thin wood framing that didn't take away from the piece or add unnecessary bulk to it. They even included the wire hanger for wall mounting! Great service, and we'll definitely be back for future work. Thank you Framing Depot!
