Audrey, Judy and staff are just incredible. They all went well over and above to help me out. Awesome staff and customer service/satisfaction. Truly a first class company to deal with.

In the end, the damage deposit for our apartment was a complete rip off. We spent over 7 hours cleaning the place top to bottom and fixing dings in the walls that were there when we first moved in. Yet they still took off a chunk of what we paid for damages because we didn’t shampoo the carpet in the bedrooms (which they said they do anyways and always before). I may add the carpets were in perfect condition when we left. No stains or snags, and we vacuumed thoroughly. I am not happy. I believe damage deposit funds should be given back or taken depending on if the unit is...You know... damaged. We scrubbed every wall, baseboard, cupboard and surface. We patched up and sanded down every single ding or scrape we could see on the walls (even ones that were there before we moved in). We were good tenants. Kept quiet and clean and left the place way nicer than it was when we first came in without complaint.(Edited post as I was told we were losing half of the deposit when it was a quarter. Still think we should have received it in full.)

I am a realtor that is new to the condo environment. I called schinkel in steinbach and spoke to the girl that does the sale documents (i believe her name was Angela?). She was very patient and friendly with me, went through and explained everything to me in detail and I was able to learn a lot from the conversation. And when my client ordered documents we had them back very quickly. Lindsy was very friendly and quick to respond too. Had a great experience with schinkel! Great staff

Schinkel Properties is refusing to return the security deposit. Even though they promised it will be returned in full at move-out inspection.Poor business practices. Stay away if you value your money.

Have had a great experience with Ashley at Schinkle properties she takes care of business and get things done fast.dealing with her is great as well its easy communication no Messing around she gets straight to business she response to phone calls and texts very quick as well Ashley is my go to at Schinkel Properties.

I've contacted multiple people in this company over the course of about 2 months and not one person ever gets back to me. I personally called Bob Schinkle who kindly answered and apologized for the people not answering or contacting me after phone calls, emails and texts messages. He assured me someone would reach out to me shortly and its been several days with nothing. Very frustrating when a company has so much rental real estate in a small town and no one can give you the time of day when you're a new couple starting out looking for a place to live.

We lease a space at one of the Schinkel Properties for our business. Schinkel Properties have been fair, responsive to our needs, and have offered help during all the covid shutdowns.

Sold a property saying it had road access when it doesn't. False advertising and a complete liar. One of the worst experiences buying property ever. Scam artist that will change details to suit his narrative and sell property. Don't do business with these people, run too anyone that is more reputable. Not sure how there still in business and not in jail. Lawyers have been contacted and apparently will be a easy case. Looking forward to it.

We owned a condo for a year under Schinkel and we had nothing but issues. The lack of communication and lack of professionalism at Schinkel Properties was very difficult to deal with. Nothing was ever done on time and all problems had to be paid by the tenants. Tenants had to pay over and above for any and all issues related to the building due to neglect by Schinkel Properties, and lack of proper budget management.
