Rodeo Brazilian Steakhouse Rodizio
Excellent service and atmosphere with great food! Stopped by here for my birthday and the staff did an amazing job constantly stopping by our tables and bringing over the different types of meat. They were also quick to answer our questions and bring us anything we were asking for!The atmosphere was great with a great musical performance when we were there, who also took our song recommendations and entertained us.In terms of food, it was great as well! The meat was all cooked perfectly, very tasty and had us wanting more. The pineapple was prob the best part of the entire food offering though and had our table reaching out to them repeatedly for more!Overall food taste - 4/5, presentation - 4.5/5, portion - n/a

Absolutely phenomenal dining experience. My wife is from Rio - and we both absolutely loved the food.Well worth the 75$ - gratuity was optional but well deserved. It wasn't crowded and unlike most other AYCE, if it was- it wouldn't feel overwhelming with the layout.Atmosphere: the restaurant is very clean, neat and tidy- salad bar directly in the middle, and the bar portion off to the side. Music was all in Portuguese - and was not loud - so definitely heightened the experience.Salad bar: fantastic. There was a huge number of options for anyone- from build-your-own salad to straight up brie cheese & prosciutto. Self-serve, so you can control how much you have. But word of advice: don't fill up on it. Everything I had was delicious, but I wanted to try it all- so I ate over half a plate full before even getting the meet!Sides: also fantastic. Server brought out three sides to start, but we could request additional of any. Comes with fries, deep fried banana, rice with beans & farofa and Pão de Queijo.Rice, beans & farofa- fantastic. The beans were cooked perfectly and stewed to perfection- creating a perfect meld of flavors.Deep Fried Banana- now this is something I've never had before, but was it ever good! It wasn't dense, and the crust was thin and perfectly cooked. Had some at the beginning and some at the end- worked perfectly with the main course and as a dessert.Pão de Queijo - freshly made. Soft, chewy, deliciousness- as they always are!Now... the meat. The whole reason you'd go to a Steakhouse. DELICIOUS. We didn't have a single complaint about ANY of the meats - it was absolutely delicious. Everything came out at a relatively good pace.We had: rack of lamb, lamb shank, parmasean chicken, chicken thigh, parmasean pork, alcatra, garlic beef, picanha, New York striploin, and Filet Mignon wrapped in Bacon. There were more meats- we couldn't make it through everything!Just to highlight some of them - due to character count:• Parmasean chicken - definitely our favorite non-beef meat. The parmasean gives it a light crust from the barbecue, and while it's so flavourful- it's not overpowering. The pieces are small enough that every bite has some crust. The chicken itself was so soft and almost melted in your mouth. It was cooked perfectly.• Parmasean pork - unlike the chicken, it was sliced. The way the pork absorbs the parmasean created something unlike I've ever tried before. The parmasean was so strong with the first bite, but your taste buds adjust quickly to it to experience something new.• Alcatra - this was something me and my wife had never heard of before, but I wish I had years ago. Definitely my #1 cut of steak on the menu today. I can't even begin to describe it - the outside was so soft and so flavourful, yet so juicy. It wasn't heavily seasoned, thus amplifying the flavour of the barbecued meat- definitely worthy of writing home about.ANY of their meats are worthy of a whole story. Everything was perfectly cooked & seasoned. Picanha was cooked perfectly and very flavourful, alongside the classic NY Striploin (my 2nd choice of steak from what we tried), and the fattiness from the bacon soaking into the filet mignon added a new height to the flavour. Garlic beef wasn't over garlicly- it was more of a light garlic, which differentiates itself from a garlic beef dish you may find at an Asian restaurant (we were very pleased and we both love garlic.) Chicken thighs were lightly seasoned and boneless- not gristly at all. I don't like lamb- but my wife had high praise that it was soft & delicious. As well- if you like any of the beef well done- they will barbecue it longer for you.The pineapple was very delicious- fresh & perfectly cinnamonned- sliced the same as a meat. Perfect way to finish off all the meats! The only complaint I'd really have is that there was no signs for the salad bar - there were a few things that we weren't quite sure what they were, so we skipped over them.Absolutely loved everything. If you're looking for Brazilian Steakhouse- go here! You won't regret it.

Very wonderful experience. My only criticism is that in order to get pineapple you have to “end” your meal. I also found the meats didn’t come around often enough. But the band and samba was fun and the servers were all very wonderful.

I had previously gone to the Brazilian steakhouse on Eglinton - the food there was superb, meats were tender, and the atmosphere was buzzing. So my expectations were high for Rodeo considering the price was more expensive here, $75.However, Rodeo was a huge disappointment. All the cuts of steak were dry and over seasoned. There was little variety of meat (they didn't serve the pork or lamb until 1.5hr into our dining). The waiters continuously skipped us which was frustrating. The best part of the night was the live music and dancing performance. The musician did a great job in keeping the atmosphere light and fun.Overall, a hugely disappointing experience given how much I paid.

It was frustrating. I don't know if it really is a Brazilian steak house, because it's far from that. I'm Brazilian, I've been to several steak houses around the world and this place was the most frustrating. There were no varieties of meat, there was no good buffet. Cold and very roasted meats. And some totally unsalted. There was a waiter who made the cut completely wrong. We waited a long time to be served with meat and it was only after I asked about the meat options that they started to serve us. Incredibly expensive for nothing. SAVE YOUR MONEY! I rarely give a bad review because I understand that everything has its good side, but logistics/quality needs to improve A LOT.

The food was amazing. Fresh meat cuts were tasty and enjoyable. The servers were fast, efficient and friendly. It was a 50th birthday party we came for and it worked out to be such an amazing place to celebrate this milestone bday. Thank you to Jimmy our server for taking care of our table.

The steakhouse is probably the best I have been to so far. I went on a birthday date with my partner and just couldn't stop talking about the excellent service we received. The steaks were awesome. The customer service was exceptionally great. The service atmosphere was brilliant. This is a place I would recommend over and over again.

Very very little options in the buffet mostly salads. Service is not great but they demand a $14 tip! I understand table bigger than 7 automatically charge you a tip but tips should be based on service. A lot of the steak was good but very salty. Stephan was a fabulous server!I would not return!

Great atmosphere. Our sever (Suzana) was great. I liked the fact they had entertainment, but it was loud. It was very hard to hear the servers. Not a good place to go if you want to talk. The buffet wasn’t stocked regularly and also didn’t have a big selection compared to other Brazilian steakhouses I’ve been to. We sat a long time waiting for servers to come with meat options. The meat was salty and most of them were over cooked. For the price per person it is not worth it.

This was a great experience! Definitely going back soon. Top service, food, atmosphere. Every staff member was very polite and helpful. Now the food...thoroughly enjoyed the salads and sides, and the meat. Many different cuts, all delicious.
