Barkley Cafe
A delicious coffee shop in Ucluelet. It's full of people and sometimes you have to wait. Friendly staff greet you with a friendly smile. I had a latte and it was really good.

Nothing can beat freshly brewed americano and a warm bagel in vintage cafe of a small fishing town!! . Handsdown the Best breakfast bagel sandwich albeit a tad bit expensiveMade my trip to Ukee a memorable one

I have an allergy to gluten and dairy and went in asking for a gluten free wrap with no cheese. They were out of the gluten free wrap, so I got a gluten free bagel with no cheese. I get my food and go to my car and realize that there is cheese on my bagel, so I go inside and ask for one without. I end up getting mocked by the people working for asking for it with no cheese. They seemed fine with my request until the two ladies working were making my food and making fun of me while making the food as I was still in the store. If you’re going to make fun of your customers for making a request, do it when they aren’t standing right there.

In town for a few days and they know how to make the perfect coffee. Good selection of breakfast items as well, even though it isn't made when you order. Food is pre prepped, but still excellent.

Nice little coffee shop for breakfast or a quick coffee.We went to Barkley Cafe to grab coffee before hitting the road back to the ferry. It was a Wednesday morning and quite busy inside. The line moved quickly and we were able to get our drinks within 5-10 min. The coffee was delicious and the staff were friendly. We’ll definitely return for breakfast or coffee another time!

Open early, warm greetings and quick service. It’s the bumping place in town if you’re an early riser and a reliable stop during the winter off season.Bonus points for mingling and people watching because this is the stop for locals, out-of-town tradespeople, tourists, and fishers. Stop in and have a chat with a stranger because everyone who passes through Barkley has a great story… and are mostly open for a chat. If you’re early, buy a local elder a coffee and have a great day.Full coffee program, breakfast sandwiches, and snacks.

Positives - really good coffee and muffins. Reminds me of fresh muffins from grandma's oven. Staff is super friendly. I wouldn't suggest you plan your entire breakfast there. The side of hash browns were essentially two small potatoes warmed up. That being said, the bagel with cream cheese and jam was good.

We got up early to do one of the Pacific Trails. The only coffee shop open at 7am was Barkley. That explains the line up in the morning. Grabbed a couple of coffees and a breakfast sandwich to go.The line moved quickly and we were on our way. This would be a great place to come and sit inside and relax. The coffee was excellent and the breakfast sandwich was very tasty. The staff was very friendly and chipper so early in the morning.There is plenty of parking and it is easy to spot as you drive up.

Cute little coffee shop. Very decent coffee and croissants. Went in for a take out but sitting area is very inviting so might be back for another round :)Hours though are different, it is like till 1 or 2pm during winter time
