We called Cover Up Carpet to see if they service the area where we live and they said sure, no problem.When we arrived we spoke to a girl regarding our stair runner and picked out the carpet. I asked her for an approximate cost and she stated around $1,000.00 for 13 steps and a landing.They sent out there installer and he measured everything.We called the owner the next day and she quoted us $2,066.04, which was ridiculous. I looked at the installation price and it was 3 1/2 times the price a company in Hanover quoted us.She stated Arthur was twice as far from our home than Hanover was and that the installer was south of their location.I let them know they were 5 minutes further from our home than Hanover was and their installer lives 15 minutes from our house.I know now that the job was just to difficult for them. I can't believe they are in the carpet and flooring business.After speaking to the staff and owner of Cover Up Carpet, we are really glad we did not use them...it would have been as mess.We called Irvine Carpet in Barrie and they are doing the job after the New Year for us.I would stay away from Cover Up Carpet!

I couldn't have been more pleased with the tiling of my bathroom (tub area), as well as the new flooring installed in the bathroom, kitchen and hallway. Certainly the flooring in the kitchen/hallway areas were certainly a challenge but Patrick managed to do a wonderful job. You could tell that he took great pride in what he was doing.Gord, and Caroline, as well as the in house staff, couldn't do enough to accommodate the timeline and any requests that I may have handed them. Their professionalism and knowledge of their products, whether it was with flooring or tiling, was very informative and any suggestions were gratefully appreciated.I would highly recommend Cover Ups for any renovations etc. that you may be thinking of. When it comes to customer service the went above and beyond and certainly deserve the five star rating that I gave them.
