Linx Mobile Repair

The guy said he'd give us 5 or 10% off of our stuff which we agreed to pay $30 for if I posted a 5 star review. I posted this review initially as 5 stars, and suddenly he said our price dropped from $40 to $35, plus taxes. He would not keep his word of our initial deal; very dishonest.

If I could give it zero stars, I would. Took my laptop to Linx Mobile in Ponoka for a battery removal. At first, it was great. I took it in June 30th, he told me I could pick it up July 1st. Thought that was weird, because it was Canada Day, but thought nothing of it. I try calling the next day, they don't answer, that's fine, it is Canada Day after all. I call back Friday, I'm told the battery has been removed, but it wasn't ready because the tech hadn't come in that day, I can pick it up the following day. It was a Saturday. Again, thought it was a little weird, again, no answer when I called. I call Monday, no answer again, so by the time Tuesday rolls around, I'm a little annoyed. I call, they say I can pick it up, so I do. Because I'm house sitting for a friend, and wasn't going to be using my laptop anyway, I just trust that my laptop is in the same condition it was in when I dropped it off. I will never be doing that again! The bottom of the top right corner of my laptop, where the computer opens up. was cracked nearly completely off, and they tried to hide it with a shoddy glue job. They didn't inform me of this, and when I just called to ask about it, they blamed me, saying that when they opened it, it broke due to a large crack already present". Which is

The owner is great! I came from Red Deer to have my iPhone screen fixed because I’ve heard great things. It was worth the drive, I paid half of what it would’ve cost me in Red Deer.

incredibly friendly and helpful service. best prices for repairs on phones. shattered my screen beyond use and needed it repaired asap as was leaving for work next day. it was near closing for all red deer shops and nobody could get it done in time. called linx and he stayed open an extra half hour to help me out. only shop willing to go extra mile. much appreciated!

Very dishonest owner multiply times I've been to his store he either would sell us broken items or rip us off. I called and asked how much he's mp3 player are and then I came in and he didn't know I was the caller he tried charging me 10 dollars extra. The guy is when you talk to him but he's a total scumbag. I would give is place zero ratings if I can.

Big thanks to the staff of Linx Mobile!! I was in town on a business trip from Chicago and broke my work phone. Linx helped me fix my issue in a fast and cost effective manner. I am very grateful and was blown away by the fantastic service I received. I normally don’t leave reviews but I need to give credit where it’s due. My computer was barely working and I thought that I might have to get a new one but it took them a few days to repair and it is working properly again. Not only that they were very knowledgeable about how to keep my computer in good running condition. Very satisfied five stars.
