Tailgunner Brewing

Tap rooms are kinda getting played in Calgary, but Tailgunner has a fresh take. There's beerhall style community tables, plus there's intimate booths in the nooks. The patio is bright and sunny. Yeah, and the beer rocks.

A lively, craft brewery and community beer hall! Was here on Friday night and it had amazing energy, the seating on the long tables is great for socializing. The beer is top notch, the German/Czech styles here are so authentic and crafted with incredible care. Great spot, will be back, looking forward to trying trivia night on Tuesdays!

Great beers, mediocre food, quiet place.In my opinion, the prices are a little bit high, however the good point about the menu and prices is that all are included GST, that I like because you know what you are going to pay.They don't have flights which is something that you expect from a brewery.They serve wine, spirits and cocktails. Don't expect to have something fancy for cocktails. The one that we tried was slightly hard.The food menu is limited which is acceptable for a brewery. The design of the plates are awesome.I wish they would add more meat to their menu.Cheers

Had a great time at Tailgunner! Food and beer were amazing and the staff was great! Will absolutely be back the next time I am in Calgary.

Beer choices were good, cocktail choices were interesting.The music was very heavy metal. Loud angry screaming music not conducive to conversation at all. No one was sitting inside all were outside...now I know why.When we came in the bartender said there was no food, they were all out.Not sure I'd go back to see if this was the norm.

Finally stopped in here. Delicious beers (ordered a flight) and had the yummy guacamole dip! Staff were super friendly! Will be back soon!

This new brewery is simple yet elegant. The staff was amazing, and very knowledgeable. Their recommendations were perfect. The beers that tailgunner brewing produces are crisp yet simple. But the simplicity is also what adds to the perfection of these carbonated suds. The sour itself is one of the most delightful, simple, delicious beers I've had in a while. Where risk-taking seems to be the path of most breweries today, the well-rounded beers they produce are perfect. The new establishment also smells of fresh cedar which adds to the experience.

Each time we have been to Tailgunner, the experience has always been stellar. Not only are the beers outstanding, the service is too. For wine or cocktail drinkers, there are offerings.We are always greeted politely, offered tasters whenever enquiring about a beer, and the owners and staff are passionate about what they do. It's clear in the vibe.The food menu is not your usual burgers and fries. How about chips with chipotle dip to catch the grumble in your stomach?The space is ample and clean. You can even pull up to the bar.There is a patio facing 10 Ave to catch the sun, and we are so looking forward to that experience with our bikes in tow.If you are a beer aficionado, praise professional service, enjoy diner food with a twist, you will be thrilled.

Fantastic experience here. The beers were fantastic. The Czech Pilsner was really well executed and the Hazy Pale Ale had beautiful citrus notes without being bitter.The service was amazing, everyone was so knowledgeable, welcoming, and friendly.The interior has a great look and feel, and was well executed. The partially enclosed Patio will be opening soon.
