Lovely...free parking...I think you can get closer if you hike to the bridge but idk...graffiti on the rocks right in the middle...too bad

Beautiful hiking location. Not accessible for people with strollers or wheelchairs, as there are multiple sections that require navigating through rocky terrain in order to access the falls up close and the bridge. The falls themselves are beautiful and the trails have many shaded areas. It is hard to find the start of the trails beyond the lookout, you need to climb down rocks in order to see it. The hike is a nice length between one to two hours depending how often you want to stop to take in the scenery and/or relax.

Great lookout point to see the falls. There is a covered shelter with picnic benches and clean washrooms. The falls can be seen from the shelter as well as a short walk to the viewing area.There is also a trail that leads to the bridge over the falls.

I visited on Sept 26th, 2021. Best fall colors in the vicinity of Sudbury (30min from downtown).Easy hike till the forest.Then it gets bit steep. Difficult beyond that point for little kids.

Beautiful in all seasons, but stunning in fall! When the water is calmer in summer great place to see very interesting shatter cone impact craters from the formation of the Sudbury basin.

Beautiful fishing River to watch from the lookout. The area has some geographical significance too. It's named after a famous artist who painted this River in one of his famous paintings

Excellent support to see Onaping falls from the shade of picnic area. Can even hike to the falls in Google weather.Do not forget to bring bug spray, too many mosquitoes due to natural woods.

Honestly, one of the most beautiful waterfalls I've seen in Canada.The path is not for the faint-of-heart! Hahaha. But a bad thing. But a bit of warning.

Spectacular scenery right from the viewing platform beside the parking lot. From there, I’m not certain we went the right way, because it was quite a scramble down to the path along the falls. There were yellow blazes, but at times we only found our way following circles painted on the rocks. It certainly got easier from there, and it was well worth the visit. Only went to the bridge because of time constraints. Added bonus was getting to see the leaves starting to turn
