Elk lake veterinarian hospital saved my cats life! He was on his death bed due to a bad infection in his mouth and several dental issues. I can not recommend them enough for the amazing compassion and care they provided. They are truly miracle workers and I will be forever grateful ❤️

New vet for our senior pup (14yr old rescue Chihuahua) - such a great experience! EVERYTHING was top notch from the intake process, the bucolic location (llamas!), super friendly staff, competitive pricing, VERY clean office. Dr. Petra was fabulous! So friendly, professional especially given my dog's abject terror of the process - she did everything she could to ease her anxiety for the exam. Everyone at Elk Lake is AMAZING. They are kind, compassionate and so accommodating. Dr. Remedious is knowledgable, takes her time and so talented! Maegan and Tara are so sweet and always go above and beyond! 10/10 recommend this vet!

I have been attending here for almost two years, and I greatly appreciate the support of this clinic. One of my pets has a chronic condition requiring monthly injections, and my other pet sustained a serious injury last year requiring orthopedic surgery.The main vets (Dr. McDowell and Dr. Remedios) and techs (Karen and Jody) I've encountered are wonderful and supportive. Every person I've met at Elk Lake Vet has been kind and helpful, which I cannot imagine is easy in this industry. They have cared for my dogs with great compassion, and I can't recommend this clinic enough!

Hard to call this 5 stars considering the circumstances but despite not being clients (as our own vet just redirected us to the emergency vet) they took us in and spent a tremendous amount of time with us working through an impossible decision. We were leaving town for a month the next morning and our dog unexpectedly took a significant turn for the worse. Considerate, compassionate, patient, no pressure, offering options and understanding of our extra complicated situation they helped us through an awful time. I appreciate everything the staff there did for us, not the least of which the time and space they gave us, and our extended family, to come and say goodbye. If this is how they treat strangers I can only imagine how their clients feel. Thank you for helping us through a nightmare day. Your compassion and kindness will never be forgotten.

My partner & I were in the heartbreaking situation of having to say goodbye to our beloved 16-year-old cat, Myrka. Dr Petra, Ela & the other vet techs & assistants were so kind with us & with Myrka right until the end. I’ve never experienced veterinary care & compassion at this level before; we’d definitely bring any future pets to them when the time comes.

My dog loves everyone at Elk Lake Vet Clinic as much as I do. Staff is friendly, I feel welcome and I don't feel any pressure. They are informative without belittling and super respectful. I recommend them to everyone I know.

I have been taking my small animal's here for 6 years and could not be happier with the care and services offered. The staff are fantastic with me and the animal's. They have been helpful and very accommodating during a couple of difficulties I have had with my boys.My border collie adores being able watch the sheep and other animals on the property.

We've had good experiences here! By far my favorite Vet! Great interpersonal skills, compassion and decision making. They took great care of our fur baby Cleocatra and all her kittens.

A great professional veterinary service. Very friendly, caring staff who really go the extra distance to make sure that you (and your fur baby) are happy. We have been with them now for an excess of 3 years with our dog and can 100% recommend them in all areas of care.
